Listener comments!
The salesman had it on Samba mode.
Rev Rab, we the giant toads appreciate all such gifts! Someone thought it looked a little greenish, but that could always be algae growth in the water. If you think it looks OK, I do too!
SledDawg ha! Great tho.
Handy your tar your call. I reckoned green frog...
Handy, we saw some canvasbacks this weekend
when you Argon
We were going to go a little ways upstate next week but now think we might have to call it off. Our car is not one that handles snow very well. It's ... vastly disappointing ...
Good to hear steveo. As someone who spends his time on the board talking about birds, good to hear he won't be clamping down on the non-music talk. Speaking of which, great set so far, Joe!
@Phillippe, I'll be a little surprised if -Ken mentions birds tonight
steveo, we have a 2003 Corolla. It barely likes rain!
My beater truck pretty much died back in November -- sucking antifreeze into the engine, but it has a quarter million miles on it so I can't complain. My bride has decided that we can get by on one car. Only problem is her car is relatively new and has such a small trunk that we have to buckle the costco-sized paper towels into the back seat. Not gonna fly in the spring when we need about 20 bags of mulch... Plus being in the 'burbs, we'll totally lose our "divide and conquer" approach to running errands on the weekend.
Yeah? I don't see ya walking with me bee-otch..
(and with that i'll back off and listen)
i've had my eye on a particular bike trailer for years, but haven't pulled the trigger
we just got a folding wagon for trips to the food co-op. seems better than the old granny cart, so far
Also, cherry axe, Bart Dude.
steveo, our granny cart busted a wheel coming back from the pet-food store a couple of months back, and if we have yet to replace it. Hard times.
I love walking the shore at Jones Beach State Park and finding old pieces coal that had been drifting on the waves for years. Sometimes they washed up at the beach after a big storm. Always groovy to find a shiny piece of anthracite in the sand
Hell yeah!
This is fantastic. And these 2020 songs don't feel at all dated, even with the hurly-burly pace of modern culture.

Well we beat England at Twickenham in a complete performance, so All Black-esque
Rev Rab, I had the advantage of proximity. One of the few advantages of being "raised" in Atlanta.
Viscerals of Johanna...
I used to have this Stooges bootleg called Rubber Legs. The version of Johanna on that drew blood.
waiting for you to, come along
Absolutely fantastical and brilliant show today, Joe! Really brought more than my share of scherzo. Thanks, Joe!
Dog and I are going to go see how icy the bridge is. If we make it back, hope to see some of youse all later on at the Next Joe's Place.
Brian, well, The Country Sect came out in 1965, so that's pretty early. I interviewed Don Crane some years ago, and Gram Parsons told him that he acknowledged the Sect as the first. Whether there are earlier examples in the musical fossil record, I don't know.
also karen o is very nice
and very sweet off-stage:>

...where Rawk & Kuntry 1st mixed is a question that needs some reductifyin' to even consider perhaps...
I loves Bollywood - but I'm talking the Trad stuff...
@tim from champaign: I had that thought too.

I don't miss movie theaters so much (because rude people) but do wish i had TCM or that other quality film streaming service. Criterion Channel is gone i think.
I settle for Youtube movies or cheap DVDs. (A Better Tomorrow was the latest). The Dig on Netflix was quite good.
