We "attended" a concert last night: Tristen at the 5 Spot in Nashville. Kind of an emotional load to see music performed live. She played all of her 2011 album (tenth anniv.), which we really love, and it was a benefit for the club. At one point Robyn Hitchcock and Emma Swift showed up to do a video tribute to the 5 Spot. I bragged on WFMU in the chat and on it being where we discovered Tristen.

For example, many US listeners might not even get to hear Bedtime Stories (being on at 3-6am Monday), but for me in the UK it's an absolute hoot. Emily is such a great DJ and it's rapidly established itself on my 'must listen' list.

Yeah I think time-of-day is a major factor. With the exception of Hearty White (who is exceptional in so many ways!) the shows I listed were basically Clay and everyone who comes on right after Clay ... because that's when I'm listening most.
