From Terry Fox: "The labyrinth at Chartes Cathedral is made of blue and white stones set into the stone floor of the cathedral. It is a unicursal path winding in 34 turns through 11 concentric rings to the center. It is 12m 87 in diameter and has 552 steps following its course from the entrance to the center. The labyrinth at Chartes Cathedral... formed the blueprint of all my work from 1972-1978.

(For) 'The labyrinth scored for the purrs of 11 Cats'... I recorded 8 continuous minutes of purring from 11 different cats.
These were than mixed to follow the exact path of the labyrinth with one cat representing each of the 11 concentric rings, 10 seconds of overlapping purrs to indicate each of the 34 turns. The tape follows in stereo the path of the labyrinth with the center finally represented by the simultaneous purring of all 11 cats." In case you were wondering.

The Times discovers punk (circa '77):
In popular music, a raucous, mockviolent sound rapes the eardrum: "punk rock" it is called or snarled. "Groove with me in the gutter, girl," is the message of such groups as the Sex Pistols, who blaze their dumdums through the filigree of old Elvisthe-Pelvis establishment-rock minuets.

@Guido 11:34: My guess is that both CD versions are the same, just one for the Japanese market and one for the rest of the world. There could be a difference in the booklet, like track listing in Japanese or Latin script.
The LP could have used a different master, with a slightly different mix, that's not that unusual. A totally different mix is rarer, but not unheard of

OK, my bad on the OOIOO CD/LP thing. It's about the 2nd/3rd song swap. I didn't think there was any way the first cut on a record side (which is what I wanted to play) could be the second song on a CD, so I must have skipped over it. Two records, four sides. Vinyl or CD, it's all great, either way.
