what happened to the real?
  Sat. 3/17/12 11:59am ted:

West Point, drugs and recovery. I am going to have to read Mike's book. For a truly strange take on drugs and recovery set at a tennis academy, check out Infinite Jest.
  Sat. 3/17/12 12:02pm Sean T.:

I did a film about Ribot in the early nineties when Sebastian Steinberg was playing with both Mike and Ribot. I am interested to read some of the band dynamics. I always imagined Sebastian to be an easy going guy.
  Sat. 3/17/12 12:04pm Anonymous:

Is Mike still doing the "Wake & Bake"?
  Sat. 3/17/12 12:16pm Connie T. Empress:

  Sat. 3/17/12 12:29pm Parq:

I was first exposed to Doughty and Soul Coughing when -- dig this -- I was stuck one summer afternoon in the Warner Brothers Studio Store at 57th and 5th, waiting out a sudden thunderstorm watching the in-store videos, and the video for Super Bon Bon came up, along with a couple of others from Irresistible Gift. True story.
  Sat. 3/17/12 12:40pm Elias:

That was the Michael Shelliest song ever!
  Sat. 3/17/12 12:42pm ted:
