  Thu. 8/18/11 6:06am Chuck:

I'll take the beer, leave the Brussels sprouts!
  Thu. 8/18/11 6:07am Chuck:

Hum, reminds me I haven't had a tasty Lambic in a long time....
  Thu. 8/18/11 6:07am Meghan:

Can you direct me to that recipe, Meghan?
  Thu. 8/18/11 6:19am Meghan:

I'll have to ask my friend Jess..... but basically roast with oil, salt pepper, toss with maple syrup, bacon and toasted hazelnuts..... it's wicked easy
  Thu. 8/18/11 6:19am Meghan:

oh, and cut your sprouts in half..... so they can soak up the tasty bits.....
  Thu. 8/18/11 6:24am Chuck:

We love easy recipes!
  Thu. 8/18/11 6:27am T-Zero:

  Thu. 8/18/11 7:12am Meghan:

Last time I was in Germany was right after the wall came down. I got to hammer at it and walk through a gap in the wall to find the other side stark white and a guy with a machine gun staring at me.....
  Thu. 8/18/11 7:12am Chuck:

I know, MK! It rained or was cloudy for 12 days straight when I was there between '79 and '81...

  Thu. 8/18/11 7:18am Chuck:

Nope, Germany, MK. I've never been to Britain...
  Thu. 8/18/11 7:18am Daniel T from Copenhagen:

I actually heard they rebuilt part of the wall for the 50th anniversary. Weird.
Thu. 8/18/11 7:19am Andy in Berlin:

@ Chuck: Commemorating is different from celebrating.
Thu. 8/18/11 7:20am fred von helsing:

Everything you always wanted to know about the Lenne Traingle but were too irretrievably square to ask:

  Thu. 8/18/11 8:29am Chuck:

Ah, Bohemia! The inventors of pilsner beer!
  Thu. 8/18/11 8:42am Elwyn:

Mmm... Beer! I like German beers the most because they have the least preservatives. Preservatives agitate my eczema.

Half Man Half Biscuit? Reminds me of a John Maclachlin(sp) song titled "Half Man, Half Cookie"...
  Thu. 8/18/11 8:43am Dave B:

I might just have to head over to Bohemia Hall this weekend, weather permitting

Hey Pierre!

"agitate my eczema" ... it's too early for that sort of phrase!
Thu. 8/18/11 8:44am fred von helsing:

Plzen is OK for an overnite trip from Prague. They have a beer museum and catacombs, then you take the Pilsner Urquell tour and then head into their beerkeller to tie one on
  Thu. 8/18/11 8:45am Meghan:

Bonjour Pierre! oh, nice! Glad you had a nice vacation. I am headed off tomorrow for a long weekend vacation myself. Yay Montreal!

  Thu. 8/18/11 8:46am Elwyn:

@Chuck: Do you think you'll hit the October deadline? I'm starting to think the costume won't be done by then because the who I've paid for the plastic bits is really far behind schedule.
