![]() Chat and live performance from Sam Sadigursky & The Words Project (Lto R: Sam, vocalist Christine Correa and pianist Dan Tepfer) |
|||||
|
In addition to being a multi-talented sax and woodwind player, Sam Sadigursky has embarked on an an ambitious project of creating music around words. his creations may at first conjure images of The Beat Poets set to Jazz, but Sadigursky's creations border on Art-Song territory. Two albums-worth later, Sam's Words Project continues to grow, with a live show featuring many of the contributors next Saturday. He dropped by to play a few live tunes we recorded and to chat about the Words Project on WFMU. |
