I used to tape wiggle (until someone nicked my reel-to-reel at a show). Then I was stuck w/ reels of quarter inch tape I couldn't use....(I put multiple recording and pickup heads to i could sample and/or make reverb/echo fx. Miss the damn thing).

@ngh I did that too - the old "set up two Reel-to-reels with a big gap for manually moving a pickup head on a stick though a spring reverb" trick.
