Notable Guests
WFMU has hosted a wide array of live in-studio performances and interviews with a variety of guests over the years. Given our location right across the water from downtown Manhattan, groups passing through NYC will often stop while on tour or occasionally will make the pilgramage from far away specifically to stop by our Jersey City studios.
We pride ourselves on putting up and coming artists on the air well before they break as well as providing a platform for a wide variety of artists and voices. WFMU is probably the only entity on earth that has hosted the likes of Don Rickles, Grandmaster Flash, Genesis P. Orridge, Willie Nelson and DJ Shadow all under the same roof.
