The thing I think is crazy about songs like Getting Better is that even if the Paul death thing is a complete hoax, they still went to insane lengths to make the backwards lyrics work coherently and still create massive hits. It's just pure genius, on a linguistic level, and they don't really get credit for that part of it. It's like 2 songs in one that fit seamlessly together via the reversal of time.

Smoking a doobie between the moving trains was a tradition in NYC in the late 70's. You didn't really have the time going from Exchange Pl. JC to WTC. But we lit up on the Journal SQ train to 33 station all the time. Peace all ; )

did you watch "sisters"? it is apart of the 70's horror series. shot on location in staten island from what I can tell - you can find the apartment building on google streetview and it looks the same as it did in the film. really cool split-screen effects are implemented that i had not seen elsewhere. it allows the viewer to see two different perspectives as once and is BRILLIANT
