The vocals on "Night Predator" are too far back in the mix to be certain, but I'm guessing... not English language?

So desu ka? It was one of those great throbbing things where I don't mind being forced to wear headphones at this hour because housemates -- sounds better this way. Also, it reminded me that I've been wanting to revisit '70s Krautrock lately.

In fact, in factories even just the smell of peppermint increases productivity.

Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 6/22/15 3:43am coelacanth:

Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 6/22/15 3:44am pacific standard simon:

@coelacanth - What? Are you on antibiotics or something? Or just breaking in a new liver?
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 6/22/15 3:46am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Hullo. Guess I'll get up & type stuff. *Thot* I heard Judy Henske. Pizza & wine consumption makes want hydration @ this hour - hm mint tea might be a good way to go...
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 6/22/15 3:47am pacific standard simon:

Moroccan mint is the best. Closer to spearmint than peppermint.
Avatar Mon. 6/22/15 3:47am ! I X Key !:

Also, since alcohol depletes B vitamins, mainly B1, & dandelion is such an awesome source of B vitamins & omega fatty acids & so much good for you ness, & since peppermint improves mood, I have also found dandelion leaf & peppermint tea to be an excellent hangover cure -- really not some funny thing & actually really helpful

I have created a dish of pine needle tea, caviar, & shaved black winter truffles! In the Church of Scientology, f there's something you haven't confessed during auditing sessions, it's called a withhold
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 6/22/15 3:54am coelacanth:

pss, no and my liver's probably in good shape! it's just that i got busy last autumn with inside stuff and barely drank all winter and still haven't gotten my summer drunk on...and i have a feeling i wont this year...and the decades-long honeymoon is over!
Avatar Mon. 6/22/15 3:55am ! I X Key !:

& having a withhold is a Scientology crime! Pine needles are high in vitamin c! & beer also has other herbal properties that are remarkably good for you!@
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 6/22/15 3:56am pacific standard simon:

Heh, I WAS, for less than a year. Shortly before discovering rock 'n' roll.

Here's my day: Darjeeling tea in the morning, hibiscus-raspberry tea in the afternoon, beer and whiskey in the evening, and mint tea late night.

Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 6/22/15 4:01am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- however, hops is contra-indicated for depression...I might be better off putting beer on my head trying to keep some hair...moderate drinkers live longer is still the word so far. I have a theory that has to do w/ - I dunno - relaxation??

well, my mother is 80 years old. she's an alcoholic. she has one drink/day,but she can go a day without it. she worked until 1-2 years ago. gets up each day;feeds the cats;goes to work;comes home, has dinner & a drink; sleeps.

Jeff, sorry I'm not discussing the music so much. What can I say -- it's meditative. Or, really, ruminative.

Was great to see Neubauten on Primavera feed - pouring wrenches & metal bits to make the sound of charm bracelet trinkets including Sun Moon & Stars being pulled out of someone's gullet! & all emotive, not gimmicky or ham-fisted 'industrial'. Quite something.
Avatar Mon. 6/22/15 4:59am ! I X Key !:

They are such genius at that they make their real sound & are not industrial

I love how Einstuerzende Neubauten have evolved from the crazily unexpected music they recorded at first under a train bridge including the train-crossing-above sound in a long ago world through being so arty as to be doing things like all staring quizzically at a melon & now
