Is it now? Well. many happy returns!
Avatar Sat. 6/28/14 11:02am Andrew Waterloo:

good morning
  Sat. 6/28/14 11:04am Bob:

I heard a story that Scott Ligon actually got hired to play piano for Big Al Anderson on a gig, even before meeting Terry Adams. True?
  Sat. 6/28/14 11:07am lloyd michigan:

Worst drivers? Check out Ohio and Florida.
  Sat. 6/28/14 11:13am Bill:

100% right on Jersey drivers. I transplanted here from MO going on six years ago, and I'm still routinely shocked at the wonderful combination of lack of skills and hostility. Two thoughts 1) delayed green is bizarre - what, you can't afford arrows?! 2) The more expensive the car, the bigger the problem.
  Sat. 6/28/14 11:20am lloyd michigan:

MS, what album/CD is that song "Florida" on?
  Sat. 6/28/14 11:21am JOFF!:

on the topic of Beatles re-appropriaters, have you heard/SEEN 'Street the Beat'?!?!
Avatar Sat. 6/28/14 11:23am Michael Shelley:

CD "Look At The Birdy"

  Sat. 6/28/14 11:29am lloyd michigan:

Just downloaded from Amazon. The Ligon brothers owe you. :)
  Sat. 6/28/14 11:31am Todd E:

Scott, When is the Terry/NRBQ Monk album (from that gig in Vermont) slated for release? Loved the recent show in Boca!!!
Avatar Sat. 6/28/14 11:33am drr:

JOFF!: yes, on this show, actually!
  Sat. 6/28/14 11:33am gurn blansen:

what was the name of that podcast again?
Avatar Sat. 6/28/14 11:37am Michael Shelley:

  Sat. 6/28/14 11:38am Blanket:

Also want to ask Scott about the Monk stuff! Heard them do Well You Neednt this year and they just killed it
  Sat. 6/28/14 11:40am lloyd michigan:

Any suggestions for one NRBQ CD for someone who owns none of their music? (hangs head in shame)
  Sat. 6/28/14 11:43am Cricket:

For the question about a NRBQ CD - I'd start with their latest "Brass Tacks". Can't wait for the Scott interview - I adore what he's doing with NRBQ! He seems to capture everything great about them. Fab player <3
  Sat. 6/28/14 11:43am SeanG:

these songs are awesome
  Sat. 6/28/14 11:43am Freddy:

Also please ask Scott if the Monk cd will be a mix of the live stuff or the studio stuff they recorded, or just one or the other ...?
  Sat. 6/28/14 11:44am gurn blansen:

thanks for the link! love the show
  Sat. 6/28/14 11:45am lloyd michigan:

Thank you, Cricket!
Sat. 6/28/14 12:00pm Pete from Boston (and NJ):

Thanks Lloyd (and Cricket). I just came here to ask that very question.
  Sat. 6/28/14 12:04pm shirley:

'Keep This Love Going' was written by Adams/Donnelly/Ligon (not just Donnelly). Great show, Michael!
  Sat. 6/28/14 12:05pm Cricket:

By the way - there's lots of wonderful others ....Yankee Stadium, All Hopped Up and Tiddlywinks to name a few more. If you like Mike's Number 1 hits - you'll probably like these a lot :) PS thanks Mike and Scott for the interview - loved it!

ah camera obscura. saw them in edinburgh over 10 years ago. It was a good show.

I sense the psychic nearness of Roy Head.
Avatar Sat. 6/28/14 12:48pm Jimmy Wipper:

Dis kind of thing happen too often! Ok, I'll give you this one! But the other stuff I heard were mostly note by note covers (like the Nick Lowe one--which was pointless).

Avatar Sat. 6/28/14 12:53pm Jimmy Wipper:

It is with great astonishment that I realize that I briefly knew Scott Ligon while he live in Farmersville, Illinois. He dated a friend of mine. His talent blows my mind. (He also has a HELL of a record collection...)
