*I* did ONE pull up in my life!!!!! The last time I ever had to do one! :D

Can you "teach" how to do a pull up? Either you're capable of doing them or you're not. So my last physical test in 10th grade P.E., I pulled up enough that they rounded it up to 1! My lifetime achievement award.

The caller should sing the brown note...
Avatar    Thu. 12/5/13 6:24pm Matt from Springfield:

Whoever discovers and patents the brown note is going to be rich and powerful.
Avatar    Thu. 12/5/13 6:24pm glenn:

I came home from work, sat down in my favourite chair, turned on the TV, and said to my girlfriend, "Quick! Bring me a beer before it starts!"

She looked a little puzzled, but brought me a beer.

When I finished it, I said, "Quick! Bring me another beer! It's gonna start!"

This time she looked a little angry, but brought me a beer.

When it was gone, I said, "Quickly! Another beer! It's gonna start any second!"

"That's it!" She blew her top. "You bastard! You waltz in here, flop your fat ass down, don't even say hello to me and then expect me to run around like your slave! Don't you realise that I cook and clean and wash and iron all day long?"

I sighed. "Oh sh!t. It's started...."
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Thu. 12/5/13 6:24pm dale:

hope everyone enjoyed my screaming
Avatar    Thu. 12/5/13 6:28pm Matt from Springfield:

Now the rope I could do, made it to the top a few times. I guess because they had knots in the rope, you only had to climb to one, then you could sit on one and start climbing again.

Scream Pickins, nice Dusty phone-stunt!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Thu. 12/5/13 6:29pm dale:

your ropes had knots? lucky.....
Avatar    Thu. 12/5/13 6:30pm Matt from Springfield:

Okay, I'm no expert but let's start to think of "laid-back places in the South":

Austin, TX
New Orleans, LA (the BIG Easy!)
Savannah, GA
Charleston, SC
Carrboro/CH, NC

Any other noms? How bout Nashville, Huntsville, Fredericksburg? Not "Blue"/Dem places necessary but "laid-back" in atmosphere.

Avatar    Thu. 12/5/13 6:33pm Matt from Springfield:

Asheville, NC! That's an increasingly hip place. Whodathunkit?
Avatar    Thu. 12/5/13 6:33pm Carmichael:

I climbed the knotless rope many times, all the way up. Somehow no problem for me. Now, chinups were always tough. I could maybe do 5 right now.
Avatar    Thu. 12/5/13 6:34pm Matt from Springfield:

didn't he have a hard on for a hat? you can still get qwisp online
Avatar    Thu. 12/5/13 6:37pm Matt from Springfield:

I think "Sugar Pops" are the previous "Corn Pops".

High Fructose Corn Syrup has been redubbed "corn sugar"--the opposite of cereals shifting marketing AWAY from "sugar"! How BAD is your product when sugar is the "better" option!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Thu. 12/5/13 6:38pm dale:

frankenberry turned kids poop pink during the first run. they had to use a different dye after that batch

Avatar    Thu. 12/5/13 6:41pm Matt from Springfield:

@dale: I heard Gilligan singing that in one of Clay's shows, and when he posted the track names I then remember that Gilligan's Island episode. Phil Silvers washes up and directs the castaways in an opera of Hamlet to the tunes of Carmen.

Avatar Swag For Life Member    Thu. 12/5/13 6:54pm dale:

i feel sorry for the animals. plus the fact that the animals eat enough grains to feed thousands of people in their brief lives kinda makes it economically unviable

If I eat meat, it is met with loving eye contact and great respect before it is considered edible to me. How many of you could ask something to give it's life and then take it with your own hand? Connect with your food or don't eat what you can't justify. That is my belief.
