tell me "beer city" is neither St Louis nor Milwaukee, please!!
Avatar Fri. 10/25/13 3:14pm Mike East:

press 45's of a single tone, play simultaneously on 12 platters, calibrate speed to get 12 tones of an octave (or any tuning really), set up keyboard to trigger each one = Jukebox Organ

In my dream last night, I played maracas at the WFMU performance space in a piece called "Composition for Jukebox Organ and 8 Maracas"
Avatar    Fri. 10/25/13 3:15pm DCE:

sounds like you had a heckuva night, Mike East!

Avatar Fri. 10/25/13 3:17pm kirk from beer city usa:

dce: I never had much local pride until my home town, grand rapids, MI, earned the title beer city usa. one of those stupid volunteer "polls," except that I like the results of this one.
Avatar Fri. 10/25/13 3:17pm Mike East:

try Zzzquil, NGH :) - Scharpling seems to love that stuff.
Avatar Fri. 10/25/13 3:17pm tim from champaign:

@dce - "beer city" is a city in west michigan awared so for Founders Brewing and a unique micro brew drinking culture.
Avatar Fri. 10/25/13 3:18pm kirk from beer city usa:

Avatar Fri. 10/25/13 3:23pm northguineahills:

I swear da Zzzyyruppp, gives me the most fun dreams. Time travel, enception-like narratives, shards of multiple realities, random artists and musicians in bizarre confluences... etc (just took some the other night while sick). It makes sleeping so much fun, even more so then other 'sleep aids'.
Avatar Fri. 10/25/13 3:24pm tim from champaign:

Yeah, I stopped by there on the way back from UFO Dictator. I liked it. Grub was OK too.
