Instant aioli - get the finest garlic powder you can find, open a jar of Hellman's Mayo, and add to taste (there can almost never be enough garlic) and mix thoroughly. Keep overnight in fridge before using, the flavors will mix better |

Most vietnamese restaurants here are kind of pan-Vietnamese - country and city food - with a bit a Thai thrown in. There is a fabulous Hmong market that opened up recently that I haven't been to yet. I'm told there are some things to eat there that haven't shown up in restaurants, and I want to get over there soon. |
