Of all the "prog" rock bands I always thought Yes the best and Close to the Edge was always my favorite Yes tune.

RIP Mark Abrahamian, age 46.

DB, just do us a favor and don't play anything from Tales From Togographic Oceans. That album is really, really bad. The worst that "prog" had to offer.

@12539, that's horrible -- how could they break the track up across the 4 channels without screwing it up?! |

DB, it was Expo 67 in Montreal in 1967. My family drove up from Toronto to attend. I was a little kid.

Was Expo 70 a reference to a Japanese band?

Mon. 9/3/12 10:37pm
Andrew Waterloo:
according the Sir Google Expo 70 was in Japan
|
Mon. 9/3/12 10:38pm
Parq:
Expo 67 was indeed a worlds, fair in Montreal, the first after 64-65 in Queens. I attended it, once, on a hot summer day with long lines. The little that's left of it, albeit in better shape than the 64-65 Flushing Meadow grounds, is the Isle de St Helene Park in Montreal. Expo 70 was, if I remember correctly, in Japan.
