  7:01am
fred:

I don't think I would have started listening to Johnny Cash without the station. I get laughed at for this at work, but I stand my ground.
  7:03am
T-Zero:

Well, only on WFMU would you hear Johnny Cash followed up by the Beastie Boys lol
  7:05am
thomas:

hey
  7:06am
thomas:

100% awesome music today, thanks
  7:06am
Jay/ London:

@ t-zero thought you were off to sleep
  7:06am
fred:

I saw a very cool show yesterday: contemporary dance except that the basic moves came from B-boying instead of ballet. And they acknowledged the Puerto Rican heritage of the dance as well. Forsythe-ish in my book
  7:07am
T-Zero:

I was, but had some lose ends to tie up so was still listening, then got sucked in by Black Sabbath. Didn't think Keili played such things and it peaked my interest.
  7:09am
DJ Keili:

HEY GUYS! Give me random topics to talk about in my next mic break. Put my MCing skills to the test.
  7:10am
DJ Keili:

Hey Thomas! Thanks!
  7:13am
fred:

Not so random, but there's only one week left for the Silent Barn fundraiser on kickstarter. They're $390 short of the goal, how cool would it be if they reached it during your show?
  7:14am
fred:

here's the link to their project page: http://tinyurl.com/3bd9d8w
  7:16am
DJ Keili:

YOU ROCK FRED
  7:18am
Elwyn:

I heard Danne D on Shut Up Weirdo yesterday.
I'm only half awake - I'm trying to nap off a headache from 2 ciders. :-(
  7:20am
fred:

@Elwyn: half awake? So you're channeling you inner Danne D, that's a perfect tribute
  7:20am
Jay/ London:

  7:32am
Tim Serpas:

My earphones are being rewarded.

Hi Lucas! You may have been right in skipping the ESG gig. The drummer wasn't there, and that removed an important element. Did you check out Omar Souleyman?
  7:51am
frenchee:

  7:52am
Lucas:

@Fred: Yes i did it! I found an álbum with bjork (i think).
  7:54am
Lucas:

Keili: actually there is a movie right now on cinema with Harrison ford and the James bond guy and there are cowboys and spachechips :s

  8:04am
fred:

Hi tombom! You woke up in time to check in, that's good enough
  8:04am
Elwyn:

I had the best dream. It was so weird because I dreamt I was in a futuristic apartment listening to Beastin via my iPhone and I really was listening to the actual show!
  8:04am
Lucas:

I think so :)
  8:06am
fred:

Elwyn, if you're dreaming of Keili's show it's high time you send in your BBA
  8:08am
fred:

@lucas: I'll see you there if you do, I got my ticket last week. For Zola Jesus too, K is up to her mind-reading tricks again
  8:11am

The pledge total for the Silent Barn didn't move at all so far. I'm not surprised by this assessment of my fundraising skills.

  9:31am
Danne D:

I'm sorry everyone :( I'm still a bit getting over the time switch back to eastern time I guess following my trip! I wanted to pop in though and say hi to Keili! Sorry I did not make it to the comments board today :( I had your show on and was listening (albeit drowsily) and I wanted to thank you for being a ray of sunshine on such a sad anniversary! While it's a coincidence of the schedule, I think it was totally appropriate for this anniversary to occur during your show as you represent the best of what this country offers and are emblematic of the hopeful future that we have. You are just so great and special and I wanted to make sure I told you that. Keep Beastin' everyone and I promise I'll be back on here during the show soon!
