G:
Point of curiosity -- I had to learn a lute piece once on guitar, and I was taught at that time that traditional lute tuning is the same as a modern guitar, only the third string is tuned down a semitone to F# instead of G. What tuning does Jozef use? I hear a lot of sustain on open strings, so I was wondering.

G:
Thanks for asking him. Now I get it. I looked up lute tunings on the inter webs, and his post-Renaissance lute has lots of choices for open bass strings, hence all the sustain. :-)
