  Wed. 11/3/10 1:13pm jan:

can't we limit this kind of listening experience to venues where we decide to go and pay for our suffering. To do this for free is outrageous.

  Wed. 11/3/10 1:56pm Parq:

Anybody know -- was the BJ Davisis piece a demo, or was it intended to have satirical or facetious overtones?

holy jojo, i found myself kind of "singing" this to my 2 year olds this morning!
  Wed. 11/3/10 2:06pm rosh:

not that i want to limit one's personal take on music/art/life but but i'm pretty sure it's the latter. BJD's Definitive Host CD is a must w/ all releases from 04-07 & comes w/a nice big booklet. Just got mine a couple wks back, thoroughly enjoy it.
  Wed. 11/3/10 2:07pm rosh:

sorry ,my above post was @ Parq.
  Wed. 11/3/10 2:11pm Parq:

I got it, Rosh. Thanks. I kind of figured that was likely the case. it occurred to me that it might make a good demo, but then why would someone as established as Davis need one?
  Wed. 11/3/10 2:23pm emmagineering:

"dirigible swallowing? talk about inflation?" haha... wow
  Wed. 11/3/10 2:25pm rosh:

@lizardner dave : thank u! i'll b sharing this w/my "children who when left alone at home ,at an all too young age, decided to watch "the shining" & are still traumatized" recovery group. i feel you have found our cure.
