I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

  Fri. 10/22/10 1:21pm Ike:

Nah I was probably thinking of that grodey PG Tips. I have to put about a vat of sugar in there to choke that down. I'm more of an Earl Grey or jasmine green tea kind of guy.

  Fri. 10/22/10 1:33pm Vicki:

  Fri. 10/22/10 1:42pm BSI:

  Fri. 10/22/10 1:52pm Joe:

  Fri. 10/22/10 1:53pm BSI:

This Stefanie Ressin track: I'm hallucinating a choir of cartoon wigs dancing at me, with menace burning in their angular-cropped bangs. Kill me! Kill me!
  Fri. 10/22/10 1:53pm Hugo:

I had a look at that video. I haven't had the misfortune of watching Fox News. My experience with Murdoch television is with Sky News which is an altogether more sober affair. The montage gives it an other-wordly flavour which probably is as accurate as it gets. That's definitely our Bryce up there with the other finalists, though, um, more clean-shaven than from what I recall. Best of luck to you, brother!
  Fri. 10/22/10 1:53pm Chuck E. Jesus:

there's no wave like neu welle...
  Fri. 10/22/10 1:57pm bryce:

  Fri. 10/22/10 2:09pm bryce:

  Fri. 10/22/10 2:12pm Vicki:

bet this is in the library - http://www.discogs.com/Various-Recovery/release/1299995 recommend Warm Leatherette by Jim Thirlwell - but I'm not here
  Fri. 10/22/10 2:12pm BSI:

Holy crap, I thought I was the only one on earth with this German Shepherds record...
  Fri. 10/22/10 2:16pm JT:

BSI what german shepards record? it's not in the playlist
  Fri. 10/22/10 2:20pm BSI:

JT: Actually now I'm not sure: I know I've got it somewhere in the pile. The LP they did was MUSIC FOR SICK QUEERS, a rather bent classic.
  Fri. 10/22/10 2:24pm Parq:

Not for nothing, but I've always thought that this Inf/By/Clams track is adorable.
  Fri. 10/22/10 2:25pm bryce:

hey, sorry, guys! running around like crazy today, looking for things in the library that are...........not there any more.

german shepherds is this one -- http://j.mp/a2C3aH
  Fri. 10/22/10 2:26pm Julie:

  Fri. 10/22/10 2:30pm bryce:

MMMMBLEEEEEGGGGGGGGGGGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  Fri. 10/22/10 2:32pm BSI:

YEZZ! Thanks Bryce, that's the one.
Now if WFMU had the Sarcastic Orgasm LP somewhere in the vast library..... (alas I don't believe there was any 7" from SO, but they were on a similar vibe of hopelessly twistedyness....
  Fri. 10/22/10 2:32pm Vicki:

next week it's 10 inches
  Fri. 10/22/10 2:38pm bryce:

i'll really shine when it's transcription disk week
  Fri. 10/22/10 2:41pm Julie:

how about a week of oddly-shaped picture discs? I have a couple of those
  Fri. 10/22/10 2:42pm steve:

a week of all really badly scratched records would be a dream
  Fri. 10/22/10 2:42pm Michael Sumner:

Wonderful show today Bryce. Nice surprises. I knew and loved the I. B. Clams in San Francisco and I cherish their terrific double7-inch. And then right after the Clams you play IXNA -- Jay Cloidt & Marina Lapalma (who lives here in santa fe now) -- another rare 7-inch I prize. I can't imagine the size and shape of your record collection Bryce.
  Fri. 10/22/10 2:43pm Julie:

steve, this isn't it?
  Fri. 10/22/10 2:45pm bryce:

:)

it's roughly pile-shaped
  Fri. 10/22/10 2:46pm steve:

hahaha you are correct julie... i think its all the crackles and pops we've been hearing all week that got me thinking about that...
  Fri. 10/22/10 2:47pm steve:

now we're talking bryce!!
  Fri. 10/22/10 2:50pm ?:

Bryce is also "roughly pile-shaped"
  Fri. 10/22/10 2:51pm Julie:

oops my name is not "?" even if it is pronounced that way
  Fri. 10/22/10 2:51pm Looms:

I don't feel like socializing today but thanks for the tunes, Bryce.
  Fri. 10/22/10 2:53pm bryce:

hey, looms! nice to know you're around :)
  Fri. 10/22/10 2:55pm BSI:

rough piles.
ROUGH PILES!!!!
  Fri. 10/22/10 2:59pm bryce:

soft doughnuts
  Fri. 10/22/10 2:59pm bryce:
