I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Miles Davis is foot tapping in Heaven or Hell..
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:26pm Todd 76%:

Having spent the last few weeks immersed in the Miles Davis "On The Corner" box set, I 'm catching the sense of serious homage in those first two tracks...
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:27pm Cecile:

OOIOO should be the cheer squad for every school.
Fri. 10/8/10 12:29pm Dead Corporate Eyes:

  Fri. 10/8/10 12:31pm Vicki:

that's a long title
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:31pm Cecile:

how hard is it to find the track you're playing?
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:32pm still b/p:

How about replacing Electric Slide and Hully Gully and Macarena at all weddings with this, yeah?
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:33pm Cecile:

when I do my birthday dj set, I'd love to include this.
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:33pm amanda:

this has a good beat but oddly enough you can't dance to it
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:34pm Vicki:

this music is really silly
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:34pm bryce:

ding http://j.mp/bNFrGz
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:35pm Ike:

If I ever get married, I'm playing this. And I'm gonna try to force people to dance to it. Or else they get NO CAKE. You're all invited.
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:36pm Bruce:

La Gatta - 3 years before '79, ya think the Residents heard this before Eskimo?
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:38pm Cecile:

Ike, that better be some damn good cake. Just sayin'.
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:38pm D:

Good morning DJ Bryce and fellow pop music fans.

  Fri. 10/8/10 12:42pm bryce:

  Fri. 10/8/10 12:42pm still b/p:

Not just good cake...SLAYER cake!
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:43pm D:

What is this week's call-in topic?
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:45pm Cecile:

Do you have any thing from Paws by Licht and Licht? It was the drujmer from Shockabilly and his brother.
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:46pm Topic Talk:

"Who's to blame for frost on the punkin' -- Obama or Bush?"
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:46pm Ike:

Cecile, it'll be some kind of weird flavor like red velvet macadamia dark chocolate cherry cake. Lactose-free. Maybe I'll sneak some oats in there. And Bryce-flavored frosting. I guess we'll need extra-strong food processors to grind up the Bryce chunks real good.
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:48pm Vicki:

  Fri. 10/8/10 12:48pm Cecile:

Vicki, thats' amazing!
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:49pm bryce:

Bennett, I'm putting in a good word for you!
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:49pm Vicki:

  Fri. 10/8/10 12:50pm D:

U Smile 800% Slower (Mandinka Remix)
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:50pm Cecile:

I think you just need to have Bryce sit by the frosting bowl. Like truffles and eggs, you put the truffles by the eggs overnight, and they taste of truffles. I think Bryce's aura is that powerful.
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:50pm Vicki:

I do believe there's two Bennett's on this board
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:52pm perrin:

years!!!! My heart leaps with Joy!
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:54pm bryce:

i materialized you
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:55pm D:

This track is fantastic.
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:55pm Ike:

You're right Cecile. Plus, that will please the vegans, and we won't need powerful food processors after all. But we'll need a sacrifice. We'll sacrifice Vicki instead (for abusing apostrophes, re: Bennetts).
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:57pm D:

Everytime you abuse an apostrophe a copy of a Justin Bieber album is sold.
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:57pm Vicki:

  Fri. 10/8/10 12:58pm Looms:

Hello Bryce & listeners!
Some caffeine effect is what i need just NOW.
  Fri. 10/8/10 12:59pm bennett4senate:

whoa Bryce, thats crazy cause I just put in the good word for YOU
  Fri. 10/8/10 1:02pm Royal Underwood:

This is my type of song.
  Fri. 10/8/10 1:02pm perrin:

but you have to listen a long time before they write Shakespeare
  Fri. 10/8/10 1:02pm Ike:

...unless I end up marrying a vegetarian or vegan. I guess she'd disapprove of that. Maybe we'll just sacrifice a giant mutant cauliflower instead. Or it'll be BYOS (bring your own sacrifice). And a potluck. In the Plain of Jars, perhaps.
  Fri. 10/8/10 1:03pm perrin:

all weddings need a glowing pickle machine!
  Fri. 10/8/10 1:03pm D:

I figured this for a Books track.
  Fri. 10/8/10 1:03pm Mary Wing:

I LOVE this typewriter orchestra! Prefect soundtrack for my data entry!
  Fri. 10/8/10 1:04pm bryce:

  Fri. 10/8/10 1:04pm steve:

  Fri. 10/8/10 1:12pm A:

  Fri. 10/8/10 1:15pm still b/p:

  Fri. 10/8/10 1:26pm Marmalade Kitty:

..with Richard Wright!
  Fri. 10/8/10 1:26pm D:

Pause the song, Bryce, I'm going to watch this typewriter video.
  Fri. 10/8/10 1:27pm perrin:

you tube videos! stop stop stop stop. I can't take it.
  Fri. 10/8/10 1:29pm Vicki:

  Fri. 10/8/10 1:30pm Looms:

I think i heard something close to Crown Music by Pauline Oliveros a moment ago (while i was having a shower - may have been mistaken). What was that?
  Fri. 10/8/10 1:32pm paul:

this is pretty ahead of its time for 1986, couldve sworn it was Scorn or something
Fri. 10/8/10 1:33pm Dead Corporate Eyes:

hell, it sounded downright contemporary
  Fri. 10/8/10 1:37pm bryce:

looms! errrrumumumm .......
  Fri. 10/8/10 1:40pm Looms:

Nevermind Bryce, i'll check out the archive later.
  Fri. 10/8/10 1:43pm steve:

  Fri. 10/8/10 1:45pm Cecile:

Under the influence of cheese, I'll bet.
  Fri. 10/8/10 1:45pm bryce:

  Fri. 10/8/10 1:45pm D:

  Fri. 10/8/10 1:46pm Looms:

Do you mean cheese from Nederland, Cecile? :)
  Fri. 10/8/10 1:47pm Cecile:

  Fri. 10/8/10 1:48pm D:

We should have a Holiday Cheese Club.
  Fri. 10/8/10 1:49pm bryce:

  Fri. 10/8/10 1:57pm Lulu:

Bryce, sometimes I listen to your show AND wnyc at the same time. Right now it's working particularly well - it imparts everything Leonard Lopate says with a twinge of sardonicism!
  Fri. 10/8/10 1:59pm bryce:

lopate is my template
  Fri. 10/8/10 2:01pm Lulu:

whoops! I meant tinge!
  Fri. 10/8/10 2:03pm Looms:

  Fri. 10/8/10 2:13pm D:

Wikipedia used to have a picture of Hans Bennink eating a cheese sandwich, not sure if it's there anymore.
  Fri. 10/8/10 2:14pm Looms:

It's a shame Mr. Quintron's records are so hard to find over here in France. The only performance i ever saw by him and Miss Pussycat was really awsome.
Fri. 10/8/10 2:14pm Sandy in Houston:

I think I know the guy who put that sandwich picture up on there.
  Fri. 10/8/10 2:16pm D:

It's still there in all of its glory: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/1/14/Benninkcheesetomatosandwich.jpg
Fri. 10/8/10 2:18pm Nate in Detroit:

Is it just me, or did that song "FBI" have the same beat as that amazing "2 coro delle lavandaie" song you played earlier?
  Fri. 10/8/10 2:19pm bryce:

ehhh, hear one rock and/or opera song, heard 'em all
  Fri. 10/8/10 2:20pm bryce:
