Hey, Matt--Actually, I think the Lost Generation was a Chicago band. They're on a Chicago label and produced by Eugene Record from the Chi-Lites.

I'm not sure why they weren't just EWF in the movie, Derek--the band is sort of "acting" in it, and they're supposed to be unknowns. Actually, Maurice White isn't a bad actor at all in it, esp. when he calls Harvey Keitel a "jive turkey"!
