Listener comments!

  8:11pm
I AM:

Unfashionably early, but listening appreciatively.
  8:12pm
t:

The remastered with extra minutes of From Beyond is a visual delight.
  8:27pm
dividend:

mr berger, I am eating my ghetto spaghetti in awe once again. how do you do it?
  8:42pm
don:

  8:43pm
don:

  8:54pm
SiHV:

Good evening.
  8:57pm
Wm.:

Don, I give and I give. I am the Jewish Mother of noise.
  9:11pm
?:

i met total abuse last week and told them about the hidden promo for their new album in the recent video interview wfmu did with some youtube channel.great set wm!
  9:11pm
don:

as if anyone cares, i'm over here sorting out/cleaning up CD's from the living room floor--that's right, i said CD's--cleaning up so that i can host my mother-in-law in ten days. yes there are that many CD's, and i need that much time. there's gonna be a sale in July!
  9:12pm
don:

the answer to my math question just now was 666.
  9:18pm
SiHV:

Don, what's the address of your store? Is there a physical store? I want to check it out.
  9:28pm
dw:

Fun ride so far & there's a half more show yet! That blog mentioned, whammo!
  9:29pm
Sister Hairy Hymen:

Mr Berger, Have your of this band
Todesstoss -2010- Abwegnis
suicidal black metal at its finest
  9:29pm
don:

steve, it's just my website, record shows and the occasional g-sale. i WISH i had a store.
  9:31pm
Sister Hairy Hymen:

sounds like the singer is having his flesh ripped off and he likes it.
  9:32pm
don:

Darn that Merzbow's "Time Hunter." i put it in the box but the lid won't close, it's too big.
  9:33pm
Sister Hairy Hymen:

I tried to put it her box,,, She said it was too small
  9:34pm
Sister Hairy Hymen:

this sum good tripped out music
  9:34pm
SiHV:

Ah alright. Eh, physical retail. Its day is past. Wm., gigs: nothing last week, but I will be seeing both NYC-area Eyehategod shows next week. Brutal Truth opening in Milford, CT! Sick.
  9:41pm
don:

there is something to be said for a physical retail space that gets you out of the house to meet live humans, and look at the actual object not a jpeg.... also i'd like to get the stuff out from under my bed, etc. but the rent would kill me.
  9:49pm
SiHV:

Yeah, I'm sort of joking. I like visiting Hospital Records in the city and I like vinyl. But that's because I'm old and pathetic.
There's gotta be some hole-in-the-wall places for cheap in Suffern, tho, right? Can't do it in the yuppie wasteland that is tarrytown, tht's for sure.
  9:54pm
don:

imagine if there was something like Hospital in Suffern. who would come?
  9:55pm
Wm.:

If you called it Suffern Sukkot Ash, I'd come.
  9:56pm
don:

i appreciate that. on so many levels.
  9:57pm
don:

i just did '666' again! what's up!
  10:07pm
Joe Regimental:

Awesome show tonight so far Wm.
  10:28pm
dw:

I am totally ecstatic with all the way out fully omega explosion of so many great sonic things going on these days, but where's a new Bananafish-like rag to wipe it all up?
  10:31pm
Wm.:

Well, people don't really do zines anymore, do they? The Chondritic Sound noise board is a great place for info on artists, labels and tours.
  10:31pm
dw:

Where's my (Bananafish) Chippy?
  10:32pm
dw:

ah ok yeah online of course, but I do miss the sweet mag with disc combo fun
  10:36pm
Wm.:

Well, yeah, I love Mike M's Yeti, but it's not just about music, and he's into different things in music as well. Signal to Noise is good, but they too only scratch the surface of the amazing regional scenes and artists in noise/electronics.
  10:36pm
dw:

maybe the zine/mag wheel will roll around again like tapes have
  10:39pm
dw:

Yeti is good I agree, but a "Bananafish of the NYC area in the 20-teens" would be so great, the art, the music, the peoples...
  10:43pm
dw:

Also not trying to imply that Bananafish is easily re-rendered, it had it's own time/voice, unique and strong.
  10:44pm
SF Spike:

Thanks once again for providing a sublime soundtrack to my tedious job. I think bankers secretly like atmospheric noise.
  10:48pm
Wm.:

I liked Bananafish for what it covered, but I prefer a less snarky voice. That's what's great about Mike—he's an unabashed enthusiast. I like writers like Julian Cope, who get all goofy about the things they like, even if a few facts fall astray. I'm all about not being "too cool for school."
  10:55pm
dw:

In their defense, wasn't that snarky voice the mediation tone of the grunge-o daze? But I do agree, honest enthusiasm is great, like blogs and stuff.
  10:56pm
dw:

I just miss leaving the record store with a fat ole mag/comp to pour over a few times a year I guess.
  10:57pm
dw:

math sum was 666 on that one, ha! thanks for another wicked show tonight, looking forward to Opponents next week!
  10:57pm
Wm.:

I just never aligned with it personally, that tone, I mean; I'm a passionate goof about what I hate and love in all the arts.
  11:01pm
Joe Regimental:

Great show.
  2:00am
P.K.:

thirdsex.org is working on a zine as we speak. Kind of a playboy layout with center folds etc. keep a eye on that web site lots of great recordings coming out really soon too!

thanks for playing a handful of oms-b releases. finely got that split on vinyl.
