i just found out the other day caligula is a porn movie, because we started carrying it at work. i just thought it was like a "salo," type ohhh there's so much nudity/"sexy" stuff in this, but it's actually just a weird film type thing.

actually that was a "legit" movie made by Tinto Brass and written by Gore Vidal.. It was pretty much done when they ran out of funding. Bob Guccione of Penthouse picked it up and added a bunch of porn to it.

okay. that's how i always thought of it but then i saw the cover with the big penthouse logo and having it be sold at a porn store instead of a regular dvd store threw me for a loop.
