Mon. 6/15/09 6:17am From: annie

wonderful brad, might actually be able to get in the water logged garden today. have to keep telling myself it's not too late, only the start of the season. been doing alot of transplants into 1 inch pots, to keep me occupied. you?

Mon. 6/15/09 6:27am From: Bradford Eugene LaBonte

10-day forecast is all clouds and t-storms, so you should run in at the first opportunity.

Things are good over here - last 10 days at the job, then 6 weeks a nothin'. Time to plow through some DVD box sets.

Mon. 6/15/09 6:32am From: annie

thanks for the heads-up on that. will get out there today, then. (check out my pics, btw, of the garden when you have a chance.).. dvd, box sets.. hhmmm.. sounds like a toy chest!. i still have to catalogue my vinyl and give the rest away. started to, then got sidetracked. puter crashed, have to start all over again. another zen moment!

Time to build an ark

Mon. 6/15/09 6:52am From: annie

i just saw someone's post from iraq of some marines annoying a billygoat. they were getting it to butt someone, goading it. i had a hard time laughing at that.

99 times out of 100, animals should probably be left alone.

Morning Brad. Try not to sob.

Mon. 6/15/09 7:23am From: Adrian in London

Oh, DVD box sets. I'm hooked on Damages, mainly for how weird Glenn CLose looks these days. Not as weird as Nicole Kidman, obviously, but still. Three episodes of the first season to go. Carnivale was pretty good too.

Mon. 6/15/09 7:28am From: Bradford Eugene LaBonte

Hey there, Adrian. I have plenty more Al Pacino prank calls on call in case things start to get too emotional.

I have Berlin Alexanderplatz on deck. Then, if I decide that I want to completely waste my time, Lost.

Mon. 6/15/09 7:31am From: annie

i spend alot of time on hulu watching old episodes of barney miller, quantum leap.... silly shit .. now i've discovered they have st elsewhere! LOVE that show

Mon. 6/15/09 7:44am From: Bradford Eugene LaBonte

I've recently started watching Kitchen Nightmares on Hulu and it is amazing.

Mon. 6/15/09 7:44am From: Adrian in London

If you can hunt it down on the internets, Bakersville PD is fantastic

Mon. 6/15/09 7:47am From: annie

is that kitchen nightmares with that high-strung chef, who has a foul mouth?

Mon. 6/15/09 7:47am From: Bradford Eugene LaBonte

The very same. And he does not have kind words for those nightmarish kitchens.

Mon. 6/15/09 7:51am From: annie

yes, that;s an interesting show. i liked it at first until it got nasty with the elimination rounds. leaving the elimination up to the chefs and not whatshisname. anyway,.. on a similar note, a friend of mine was in that family-swap show. she was the organic farmer and the other wife was an overly obese homemaker from some midwest city. boy , does she give alot of insight into the reality show schtick.

Mon. 6/15/09 7:52am From: annie

i want to tell you i love these readings.

Mon. 6/15/09 7:57am From: Bradford Eugene LaBonte

Oh man, I saw an episode of that show where a family of storm-chasers switched with a family that designed child-proofing materials. How 'real' is the show???

This album is great, I'm sad that I can't play the whole thing this week, should've done so another time - it's an hour long : (

Mon. 6/15/09 8:06am From: annie

if bryce can do it, so can you. regardless, it is so nice. (you should say the last "e" on rinpoche, as in cliche and ballet.) denise told me they ordered them to argue and have fights or they would shoot all night til they did. and the woman who went to the farm refused to feed the pigs and she demanded to be put up at the holiday inn cause tom was "harrassing her". very weird, but she got 20 thou out of the deal.

Mon. 6/15/09 8:20am From: Parq

Hey, Brad, having kind of a bad morning so I had to turn it down a little, but I really wanted to be here for your fade-out. Have you looked into housing in the Bay Area yet?

Mon. 6/15/09 8:23am From: Bradford Eugene LaBonte

Heya Parq - thx for listening! I'm flying out to CA in the beginning of July for 5 days, fingers crossed that I find something in that time period.

Superb last-track choice, btw.

Mon. 6/15/09 8:56am From: Adrian in London

Oh Roxy, great. I'm busy reading the book about them by Michael Bracewell. More about how 1950s English austerity was smashed by the art schools and how British pop art influenced, well, everything.
