Mon. 3/2/09 12:36pm From: Parq

Can't believe how long this Plastic Bertrand hit has been around.

Mon. 3/2/09 12:37pm From: Hugo

Hi Liz B.

Listening in from Berg(en).

Kinda punkish vibe to this show. So here's a little request which might fit in: Paris Maquis - Metal Urbain, first ever release on Rough Trade. Bought it at the store when it came out.

Mon. 3/2/09 12:40pm From: Carmichael

KING KHAN!!!!!! Now we're f$^&*@*&ng talking!!!!!

Mon. 3/2/09 12:44pm From: Cecile

Mon. 3/2/09 12:44pm From: ?

Mon. 3/2/09 1:11pm From: postmanpaul

hi liz and brian, sort ken out ,he announced publicly re poss' swag-swap that my pledge was not enough @$15.
it was considerably more!!!!!!!!!!!
(how embarrrrrrrassing)!

Mon. 3/2/09 1:14pm From: I'm Gigante

Hey Brian and Liz
you've convinced me to buy a cow T shirt!
love GiganteSound. ps:how can you not like WFMU?

Mon. 3/2/09 1:15pm From: Ike

PostmanPaul, the way you phrased it during BW's show, it sounded like it was only a $15 pledge. I think you confused everybody. All pledges include everything at the lower levels in case you didn't know. Every pledge of $50 or more gets a T-shirt *and* everything at the $15 level too.

Mon. 3/2/09 1:22pm From: postmanpaul

cheers ike :)

Mon. 3/2/09 1:22pm From: BT

funny you mention Primavera.... stay tuned ;)

Mon. 3/2/09 1:24pm From: cosmic

Mon. 3/2/09 1:27pm From: postmanpaul

hey cosmic, squashed tomatoes and stew to you!

Mon. 3/2/09 1:28pm From: Carmichael

OK, the MS e-mail alert niose on this song is driving me nuts.

Mon. 3/2/09 1:31pm From: Joe

This is an excellent song in which to embed asubliminal "Pledgy pledgy pledgy" type of message.

Mon. 3/2/09 1:35pm From: Cecile

Lexy Mt. Boys song is based on a goofy old 70s novelty hit.

Mon. 3/2/09 1:40pm From: gerardo

do you remember the name of that hit, cecile?...

Mon. 3/2/09 1:42pm From: Cecile

Gimme Dat Ding by the Pipkins

Mon. 3/2/09 1:45pm From: Carmichael

Way to go Gerardo! And also thanks to the KDVS dude out in Davis!!

Mon. 3/2/09 1:47pm From: Carmichael

Good Lord, Cecile. Why even mention a song like that? Great, now that's in my head for the rest of the day.

Mon. 3/2/09 1:47pm From: gerardo

thanx, cecile, i'll look for it!

you did great, Brian, that's how "wena cabros" sounds ;)

nice mention, liz :)

way to go, carm ;)

Mon. 3/2/09 1:48pm From: patradio

boy howdy! I just won a cd!

Mon. 3/2/09 1:48pm From: Cecile

I give the joy. My husband sings that damn song all the time.

Mon. 3/2/09 1:49pm From: Cecile

If you pledge a mouse of today pleage, they can bill you monthly.

I don't even notice $36 a month. I've spent more on less valuable stuff.

Just sayin'.

Mon. 3/2/09 1:52pm From: Stannerlee

Way to go Cecile. A dollar a day. Value for money or what!! End of story

Mon. 3/2/09 1:54pm From: HotRod

Swastika Eyes by Primal Scream next? :)

Mon. 3/2/09 2:01pm From: Liz B.

Thanks for pledging everybody, keep those dollah billz rolling in!

Mon. 3/2/09 2:02pm From: Cecile

Do you guys have "Cash Money" by Prince Charles and the City Beat band? It's got the greatest chorus - "Pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters/Dollar bills! Hundred dollar bills!"

Mon. 3/2/09 2:03pm From: gerardo

i see your point, cecile - when my folks here like a song, they play it till you end up hating it... just like in commercial radiostations...

gracias a uds., liz ;)

Mon. 3/2/09 2:07pm From: Parq

Some day years from now, when FMU plays that thing from "Juno", it will be a Moldy oldie.

Mon. 3/2/09 2:52pm From: Mark

I tried to make a pledge from here in Moscow, Russia, but it wouldn't work. Sorry. No online credit card payment system likes payments from Russia. Maybe I'll figure it out later. Good luck to you.

Mon. 3/2/09 2:54pm From: Liz B.

Mark, you can pay by paypal, too!

Mon. 3/2/09 2:55pm From: Ike

Uh oh, the levels of spam and fraud coming out of Russia are probably screwing you up, Mark. You could just choose the "bill me later" option though! You don't have to pay now.

Mon. 3/2/09 2:58pm From: Mark

Yes, I know, but my paypal account doesn't work due to me not being able to do all the confirmation stuff I'm supposed to to activate it, which is basically down to me being in Russia, as well as my lack of orgnanisation.

Mon. 3/2/09 3:01pm From: Greg
