Joe:

Hello, Mr. Mac, just checkin' in to see if that was, indeed, Man Man, which it was. Oh it was indeed. I hope the job search is at least as well as your show is tonight. That is to say, well.
  3:07am
larry:

Morning Bill. No problem here with stream. Hope you're well. Freezing here again. All white with frost.
  4:06am
Larry:

Sign o' the times. Local coffeeshop, 2 new staff:both Irish. Service industry the past 10 years has been staffed almost entirely by foreign workers. Sqeeze is now on. For the Irsh though: their English was almost on a par with their foreign counterparts
  4:12am
Pat:

XTC goes down as one of the best bands ever
  4:12am
Bill Mac:

Interesting... where do you figure most of the foreign workers come from? Most of ours are Mexican, but their are now a lot more Pakistanis and Indians than there were 20 years ago. Asians seem like they've always been here, but there was a large influx of them about 20 years ago.
  4:13am
Jay:

hi billl just to check in and say hi from london U.k.
  4:14am
Bill Mac:

Hi Jay how you doin?
  4:16am
Pat:

Ian Dury ... blast from the past
  4:20am
Larry:

Mostly from Poland, Romania, Italy and easter bloc states. We have a lot of really well educated Brazilians and Africans too. Unfortunately for some reason they end up serving us coffee and muffins. Such a waste of natural resources. But they've enriched this country no end. I'd hate to see them all go home again.
  4:22am
jay:

have not been up long as over slept coffee lots to do. Your show always good to get me going .....ian dury I used to go hear him when he started brings back my ill spent years :)
  4:23am
Bill Mac:

I'm diggin the older stuff tonite....
  4:49am
Bill Mac:

I know what you mean Larry. I guess that's the natural order of things. First generation immigrants always end up with the jobs that we don't want to do
