Not much traditional food for me this Thanksgiving. But I had some cool Sudanese chicken, the four-flavor bowl from Pho Cyclo (best banh bowl ever), and a bunch of Indian buffet.

Mon. 12/1/08 12:52pm Doug from DC:

I've been to Amsterdam Falafel, but it was around 2 or 3am and my memories of it are kind of vague. A friend and I are still looking for the best Falafel in DC. 24/7 isn't bad, and El Khartoum's is good too.
  Mon. 12/1/08 12:54pm Liz B.:

  Mon. 12/1/08 2:25pm Jeff M:

If those snarky musicians want some tasty Mexican food (and happen to be in JC some day other than Monday), there's always Taqueria Downtown. Not a burrito joint per se, explicitly a taco joint. And closed Monday.

  Mon. 12/1/08 2:28pm Jeff M:

NC: pine trees. Sincere hippies selling crafts at the Eno River festival.

have you ever thought of joining your name into one name? hmmm, Lizberg, have you? it would be so Vienese! this would be your middle name, by which your biopic would be named. (that's what they call biography movies?) Alessandrealouisa Lizberg Muthrushesvaszstille.
"Lizberg: portrait of a genius"
you could play a Baroque period turntablist in the big booty dress like they wore. kiera knightly would play your best friend who is a way-before-her-time go-go dancer. have you seen wave twisters? you could have a victrola wristwatch!

dude, you could have a victrola wristwatch.
