had my first best thanksgiving party, a franco-american one, with all kinds of yummy homemade thanksgiving dishes brought by every american expat' guest. pumpkin pie, turckey with yummy stuffing, cranberry sauce, candies sweet potatoes, apple pie, green beans in its cream and mushroom sauce... memorable.

I've been to Amsterdam Falafel, but it was around 2 or 3am and my memories of it are kind of vague. A friend and I are still looking for the best Falafel in DC. 24/7 isn't bad, and El Khartoum's is good too.

well Amsterdam is close to the best--really good w/ that huge bar of fixin's. The fries are amazing too....but they need plates. I like Astor's pizza too in AdMorg--not for the pizza but all the other Egyptian-oriented food.
