Sat. 8/16/08 9:59pm From: J W

Chrisma are the band that led me into my italo sickness. I love that record.

Sat. 8/16/08 10:01pm From: greg

chrisma is new to me. really like it. has that VU, early stereolab groove.

Sat. 8/16/08 10:12pm From: mike g.

chrisma are really really special... if i was the kind of person who blatantly flauted copyright laws and expressed opinions breaking those laws i would recommend that you search around on line for their records immediately.

Sat. 8/16/08 10:18pm From: J W

Mike, I think you once played "Nothing to do with the dog" from that hard-to-find later album where they changed the spelling of their name (I think?). What's the rest of that sound like? Is it worth tracking down?

Sat. 8/16/08 10:20pm From: mike g.

Yes I did in tribute to Butter, Monica's little friend. I love that album - it sounds like Jennifer by the Eurythmics and the soundtrack to early 80's karate films... Yes, you need it. It used to show up dirt cheap all the time. Like fifty cents cheap.

Sat. 8/16/08 10:23pm From: J W

Thanks for playing this!

Sat. 8/16/08 10:27pm From: Sister Hairy Hymen

Sat. 8/16/08 10:29pm From: mike g.

J.W. - so glad you liked the Vivien Vee
S.H.H. - secret record shopping spots in the Northeast - btw, the mambo taxi side is a cover of "super trooper"

Sat. 8/16/08 10:30pm From: SR Hairy

I wonder if Lost vestaige in Albany would have it?

Sat. 8/16/08 10:32pm From: mike g.

Sat. 8/16/08 10:34pm From: Sr

Sat. 8/16/08 11:12pm From: mike g.

really? free stuff??? but that's like record shopping without the dirty hands, grime under your fingernails, and right wing talk radio blaring. where's the fun in that?

Sat. 8/16/08 11:57pm From: skunkhammer

has anyone here heard a version of "I wanna be your Dog" that actually sounds like the original 3 stooges singing it? I would really like to find out who did it, and where I could find it.

Sat. 8/30/08 5:15am From: pete masters (spasmodic caress)
