Good morning, Hatch. It is a pleasure to hear you today.

Tue. 9/11/07 9:16am From: Hatch

Thanks, a pleasure to be here too, in spite of this bummer of a day.

Tue. 9/11/07 9:26am From: Lang

I KNEW It was going to be Hip Hop..as soon as you said "what I was listening to.."

Tue. 9/11/07 9:30am From: Wayne

A little off topic but does anyone know who knighted Sir Richard Bishop?

Tue. 9/11/07 9:32am From: LYDIA

I can't believe this song is totally lifting my mood.

Just goes to show, live will be lived. No matter WTF.

Tue. 9/11/07 9:34am From: Hatch

Richard knighted his-self.

Tue. 9/11/07 9:36am From: Wes

The GZA! Nice set, Hatch. Lydia: I think this is just what we need on this "bummer of a day." Soulful beats to lift your mood, perfectly timed and smoothly cut to keep you calm, and ranting lyrics to get the rage, confusion, and concern streaming out. It's an odd mix that doesn't work for everyone, hip-hop that is...

Tue. 9/11/07 10:17am From: emile

Monkey Star -- wooooooowwww!!

Tue. 9/11/07 10:42am From: ADAM

I've never heard Childrens Hour before, but they remind me of Joy Division meets the Chameleons. I really like it!

Tue. 9/11/07 10:44am From: Hatch

And a little Birthday Party-ish maybe? Two straight weeks with Birthday Party-esque bands!

Tue. 9/11/07 10:45am From: holland oats

Tue. 9/11/07 10:59am From: Veronica Vox

Tue. 9/11/07 11:46am From: Todd76%

hey hatch! great show as usual. just FYI re: Sham 69 - just did some poking around online and it looks like there's been a split between Pursey and Parsons. Both claim rights to the name...Pursey isn't involved w/ and does not endorse the band coming around on tour. Anybody out there old enough to remember the two Steppenwolfs?

Thu. 9/13/07 7:32am From: mihai

a very classy show as always - thanks! When Shakespeare wrote "Were man but constant, he were perfect", he never heard Hatch on WFMU...
