Probably the worst Beach Boys song of all time is or could be Summer Of Love. It was originally supposed to be a rap duet with Bart Simpson but after the Simpsons people rejected it Mike Love did all the rapping. Then a few years later the band did the song on Baywatch. You can't make this up. One of the worst songs of all time

I mean, it's my third-favorite movie version of the story, but those first two set the bar mighty high! A worthy update. Looked good, was very funny in parts, had some jump scares. Good acting. I'd have preferred if he'd done a little more to deconstruct and examine the parts of the vampire myth that blame female sexuality or frame it as something that creates a threat to society. I think he left some chances on the field with that. But overall, it was very good. Much better than his last movie.

I picked that one up at my local record shop, brand new, for like 10 bucks. I did a double take. But when I played it, seriously, nothing sunk in. Will give it another spin, but I expected something better.

I used to see Teenage Head albums in cheapo bins, and I didn't know if they were good, so I didn't buy them. Not that I know they're good, I never see them in the cheapo bins.

No doubt. He made some movies and was definitely a star for awhile. But this was an opening for Chris Isaak tour. He had like 14 pieces on stage and they were not pickup players. They were name people with pedigrees. Older musicians who were all traveling together. I just can't imagine how he did it.

Ah... I see now. Maybe people just dig him on a personal level and are happy to be there, like working on a Wes Anderson movie.
