I somehow got conned into getting something from Amazon? I ordered a book from Abebooks and it came in an Amazon Prime envelope -- which I ignored in the hall for a week assuming there was no way it could be for us! But somehow it was, with an Amazon receipt in it and all. Could have sworn I was ordering from a used bookstore in California.

One artist every year is brought to Antarctica to live with the researches. I know Kim Stanley Robinson did so one year (and wrote a fine novel out of it). It would be nice to find a comp of music that came out of that.
