Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:14pm PMD:

Hey! There's nothing wrong with California! (aside from the fires and earthquakes)
  12:16pm LiXiviated Life:

Stay away ?

Avatar 12:19pm Itzall Hear:

Is he saying "we can tuck and tail?" not sure what that means...otherwise, very nice and sad as fuck.
Avatar 12:20pm Roberto:

Regardless, when I lived there, California Girl usually stayed away from me.

  12:23pm Sean from Iowa:

@itzall. "we can top and tail". Meaning sleep head to toe I assume.
Avatar 12:26pm Itzall Hear:

Ah, thank you Sean of Iowa, that makes more sense...I thought it meant something like that. Probably a better option might be to just not even be in the same room, in my opinion... I mean, things can "happen"...
  12:27pm egould310:

Jagwar Ma has a nice Beach Boys quality. Also a Magic Gang vibe. Me likey. Thanks, Pseu.
  12:32pm ww:

Calumet makes me think of baking powder.
  1:35pm listener pi:

I went back and listened to that lobo song after 40 years or so once cause I remembered it. It was pretty half assed I have to say.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:45pm Sweet Corn Lizzie:

Good morning, helping me get to work. Great hooks as usual.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:47pm Krys O.:

Cashman and West reminds me of my roommate in college. She had their albums as well as ones by the band Smokie.

I had my Psych Furs and Siouxie.
  1:50pm scott:

Calumet built beautiful view cameras.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:51pm Hughie Considine:

Aw yeah! Jay Ferguson's voice is a thing of beauty.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:54pm Bill in W.O.:

Yeah, had me scrambling, I sure thought I was hearing Jay Ferguson there. Internet not much help. Nice one, Pseu.
  1:54pm scott:

Siouxie makes think of the 'Mansfield bar'.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:55pm Krys O.:

Ooh, just heard that the Wawa in Belleville just opened!
  1:57pm Medusa:

I like the organ music- it sounds like a teeny little rocket farting through space
Avatar 1:57pm Itzall Hear:

Everybody's got one...
Personally, I LOVE the organ music and NOT ironically.
  1:57pm Eli:

I have 2 kids, and I have no idea.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:58pm chris_in_space:

Not the same without the organ. Don't pander to the unwashed, @Pseu! Did Fabio lose "Giant Man" because someone complained? No he didn't, thankfully.
  1:58pm scott:

Is NJ still in the ice age? Ya'll are so far in the north of the distant past.
  1:58pm ww:

Oh yeah, the organ is everything. No organ, no Pseu...
  1:59pm drippyrain:

  2:01pm ww:

Now about the kids. Both of those bums moved to CA, which is why I am in so much hot water with our hostess re: my retirement plans with Carmichael....
  2:01pm ww:

and in fairness, it was not ME that made the initial comment about "depends" or losing teeth......
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:02pm Krys O.:

Raising my hand in support of the organ music.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:02pm Bill in W.O.:

Interstitial/bed/background music ain't there to excite. C'mon people, sheesh. The organ is perfect.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:02pm Krys O.:

Me and you and a dog named Boo.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:02pm WoodsOfNH:

Matt & Michele, those slacker! ;-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:03pm Richard:

The calumny toward those who pronounce Calumet as "-met" and not "-may" is uncalled for!
  2:03pm ww:

there ain't no vote when it domes to the organ music. Whaddya think Pseu runs here? A democracy? Fuggedaboutit.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:03pm Spankyflop:

Got my swag yesterday. Ironically, I think that's earlier than usual.
  2:05pm scott:

Hey Pseu & Alles. Just sayin' that I'm enjoying the show from breezy Brooklyn whilst one of the Verrazano ramps has a car fire, f-ing up the whole nabe.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:29pm Hughie Considine:

Woah, just read that Elton John has declared that the Lemon Twigs (and Father John Misty) are his current favorites, but says most of today's music is computer-driven, not real songs...

Suffice it to say that by the end of the first semester with said roommate, there was a line drawn down the middle of the dorm room. I'll spare the gruesome details like the odor and being locked out of the room during the day, etc. It still makes me shudder.
Avatar 2:47pm Pseu Braun:

Jason from Houston, glad you're safe! Krys O living with people in college was mostly bizarre. I was appalled at how disgusting women were.

Wow, college roommate stories! We are going back... I lived at Upsala College, home of WFMU, had a roommate who spoke in tongues another conducted a not so secret whoring trade. Then, my sig other, a WFMU host, moved in the dorm with me (illegally) and a new norm was established.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:51pm Krys O.:

My older brother's record collection in the 1970s introduced me to prog and other stuff.

My ex-roommate in college also had some guy who would make obscene phone calls in the middle of the night, but the phone was on my side of the room and I had to pick it up.
  2:51pm scott:

My sis' high-tailed it from Lake Charles to north LA, she's seen it all before. Right now, she is imagining the worst at home.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:51pm Jason from Houston:

Thank you, Pseu. Working from home today and feeling good about being in a light filled room with these sounds. Maybe rain tomorrow.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:53pm Krys O.:

Right, Deborah! I forgot you were at Upsala. So was I. I was in Froeberg, never in Nelsenius or whatever the other one was called.
  2:53pm ww:

Pseu thanks for that Cryan' Shames cut.
  2:53pm ?:

Another beautiful day in God's country. Still no masks on this town, no time for ritual abuse by the corrupt and impotent state. No one sick with the dreaded cold, everyone armed with knowledge. Even the local staties won't enforce any of the Orwellian double thought lockdown tyranny. Time to catch up folks. Canning breeding planting for the future. The best is yet to come.
thought police alert!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:53pm Jason from Houston:

The coverage I have seen looks so bad from Lake Charles and the surrounding areas.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:55pm Krys O.:
