Here's a link to the Arts Covid Big List/ – an extensive list of Relief and Resources For Artists, Freelancers, and Non-Profits: http://artscovid.org/

Also: BRIC has created a great resource list for artists during the viral crisis:

How the Arts and Culture Sector Can Prepare for the Coronavirus in the United States

As we take heightened precautions to support public health initiatives, including temporarily closing our doors, we want to maintain our unwavering support of the artistic and creative community and ensure that you continue to thrive. To that end, we have compiled a list of shared resources from local and national arts and culture organizations.

These resources offer assistance, such as financial support and opportunities for artists to continue to express their creative potential during these difficult times. They should not be mistaken for public health information distributed by city and state authorities.

In the coming days and weeks, finding ways to support one another will become especially crucial. At BRIC, we reaffirm our commitment to support visual artists, performers, and media makers as we unite Brooklyn through art and creativity, together, to build community and make change. We hope you will find the links below to be of use to you and your creative community as we all navigate the impact of the novel Coronavirus/COVID-19.

We will continue to add new links and resources over the coming weeks. Please check our blog for updates, or follow BRIC on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook @bricbrooklyn.

Good evening, Rob & friends!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:16pm Rob W:

Hi Folks. So... We actually have a rerun airing tonight - there was a technical glitch in my show so the guest segment with Monsieur Doumani will air next week instead. I'll update the playlist page shortly. Thanks for bearing with us. - Rob

Hi Rob and all!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:17pm Handy Haversack:

Gotcha, Rob. Sounds cool -- looking forward to it whenever it happens!

No complaints about these sounds, either!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:20pm chresti:

It's all good, Rob.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:20pm Ken From Hyde Park:

No worries, Rob. If you didn't have an archive to fall back on, there is always "Live from the Ruth Booth, it's Saturday Night!"

Thanks Rob
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:36pm Rob W:

Thanks everyone for your supportiveness. And er - ignore the ticket giveaway that I did sometime during this show... not to mention the gig alerts! Ah well...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:43pm chresti:

Makes no nevermind to me, Rob, I live in the LA area, I wouldn't know what to with those tickets.

Hey Rob - please play Sidi Habibi if you have it
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:55pm Rob W:

Hi Ruby from Amherst - apologies but I'm not doing the show live tonight - things are all topsy turvy because of the virus situation. It will have to be another time - sorry about that!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:57pm chresti:

Oh thanks for the playlist
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:58pm Ruby from Amherst:

Rob, its ok I will play it! stay safe so you can return for many more shows. Love the playlist
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:01pm Rob W:

Thanks Ruby and everyone, yes, that's what we all need to do!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:05pm Rob W:

Er and as I said, ignore those gig alerts. Robert Browning Associates had to cancel its whole spring season including his excellent annual World In Trance series - hopefully Robert and friends will be able to present the series again next year.
Avatar 7:13pm slugluv1313:

perfect music for a cold rainy night :)
excellent, comprehensive list of resources too -- thanks, Rob!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:17pm maestroso:

Hi Rob! I witnessed a performance of this kind of thing in the village atop Mt. Takao in Tokyo Prefecture a few years ago. Fabulous!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:19pm Rob W:

Thanks slugluv and wow, that must have been pretty special indeed maestroso!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:22pm EyeballKid:

Glad you're staying safe, Rob. Those drums (Ishinage Odori?) were awesome!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:22pm Smilty69:

Pretty good archive you selected, Rob. Thanks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:26pm chresti:

What smilty69 said.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:31pm Rob W:

I have to confess, I didn't select it, our brilliant Monty Hall video guru Ruth Hayduk who is board op tonight did! It was an 11th hour decision, I uploaded my show later than I should, there was a glitch and no time to re-up it so she made the call. But I am glad you are happy with her choice of archive! Ruth just has the magic touch - all of us at FMU know that already!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:33pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Yay, 10 Skeleton Points for Ruth!
  7:37pm allanToronto:

Seems like the perfect audio landscape here in rainy dim isolation. Opens up the closeness of worry into an airy temple of sound. Thanks to those who make this possible.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:38pm Rob W:

On behalf of myself and tonight's special guest curator Ruth, thanks allanToronto!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:40pm listener 126464:

Thanks Rob and Ruth. @Rob- been wanting to ask, did you have a hand in 3 Mustaphas 3 at Maxwell's circa 1989?
  7:41pm Carmichael:

The Carmichaels are on day 12 of isolation. Hope we’re coming out the other side of the wormhole.
  7:41pm Thursday Fernworthy:

Greetings to all / y’all!
Hope everyone’s doing aiight and LOVING this mix so far thx
Avatar 7:41pm The Count of Al Dente:

Glad to be hearing your great show again. One of these days I'll digitize the cassettes I have of the show from the 1980's.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:44pm Rob W:

Hi listener 126464: I didn't actually have a hand in getting the Mustaphas to Maxwell's actually. It was an odd night - one of the band-members had a little tantrum because he wanted the DJ to stop spinning records so they could start their set! I still see two of the leaders of the band (not that one though) when I goto the WOMEX conference in Europe.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:44pm Rob W:

As I mentioned earlier, apologies but ignore the giveaway offer of course - sorry about that but there will be more in the future, once the world returns somewhat to normal!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:46pm Rob W:

Good luck Carmichaels! By the way: I learned that one of the members of the band Monsieur Doumani whose session / interview I had planned to air today (and will air next week instead) tested positive. They're young though and he got through it okay.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:48pm listener 126464:

Thanks Rob, I had a feeling you would have some insight on that night
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:48pm Rob W:

@The Count of Al Dente: Speaking of the 1980s: You don't happen to have a tape of the show I did from the WFMU transmitter shack with John Sherman and Atmosphere Crew playing live in the parking lot of the adjacent Japanese steak house, do you?! Nobody has ever found a recording of that one...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:50pm listener 126464:

observe the roads!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:53pm Rob W:

But don't observe the ticket giveaway! It's, er, a blast from the past... sorry about that folks.
Avatar 7:58pm Bas NL:

Hey Rob, this archive show is fantastic and hanks for the live playlist update. Too bad the upload of tonight's show didn't work out though.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:00pm Rob W:

Thanks Bas! Well, what was to be this week's show will just turn into next week's show...
Avatar 8:01pm Bas NL:

I'll be tuning in! ;)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:01pm Rob W:

Thanks Bas!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:04pm deesat:

Hey Rob, great show! Hope you and Katie are hunkered down well.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:04pm Rob W:

Oh and ignore the "upcoming" announcements - except that you can look up that Petula Clark show with Gaylord, Irene's Citizen Kafka tribute (and the other shows I mentioned) in the archives of course
Avatar 8:06pm The Count of Al Dente:

Rob, that doesn't sound familiar but I might. I'll try to get to that task before the year ends.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:06pm Rob W:

Oh and that Ukrainian Village Voices guest appearance on my show I just plugged DID happen, on May 5 2018 - also in the archives...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:06pm radioronan:

More dancing happening in my kitchen than cooking. Thanks, Rob!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:07pm Rob W:

Thanks Count and radioronan, sorry to interrupt the culinary arts!
  8:08pm Carmichael:

I have to work in the Emergency Operations Center on Tuesday. Trying to figure out a way to hear FMU amongst the chaos.
Avatar 8:09pm The Count of Al Dente:

My rigatoni and melanzano parmigiana will be ready soon despite my 'dancing'.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:09pm Rob W:

By the way, one other thing I had intended to air this week was a tribute to Manu Dibango, who passed away this past week - I will air that next week, with a nod as well to Arlus Mabele, leader of the Soukous band Loketo, who also passed away this past week.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:17pm radioronan:

Not sure it's called art in my kitchen, definitely Pollock-esque preparations though.
Sounds (although sadly)like a great show next week. Looking forward to the tributes and Monsieur Doumani set.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:43pm mariano:

Hey, thanks for the NOLA sounds... streets eerily devoid of music here :(
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:46pm chresti:

Thanks Rob!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:50pm Kotzwinkled:

The only two stations I listen to are WWOZ and WFMU. I was legit confused for a second tuning in here tonight.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:50pm Kotzwinkled:

But YEAH YOU RIGHT keep this comin!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:52pm Handy Haversack:

Thanks, Rob!
Avatar 8:53pm Bas NL:

We'll switch to daylight saving time in a couple of minutes.. so TSP will end again at the normal 3am again for me. Thanks Rob! Excellent re-run and i hope to catch tonight's show next week. Confusing times we live in.. ;)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:54pm Rob W:

Yes well Kotzwinkled, when this show originally aired I had just tagged along with my better half Katie on a great trip to NOLA. Agreed, WWOZ is a great station!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:55pm mariano:

Same here, Kotzwinkled - a bit of WTUL sometimes as well. Frenchmen Street is the main drag in the Marigny, and you pronounced it just fine, Rob.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:56pm Rob W:

Thanks Mariano, Handy, Bas, Chresti, and radioranon, and everyone!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:56pm mariano:

And let's not forget how after Katrina, FMU really stepped up and helped WOZ by giving them air time on FMU!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:57pm mariano:

Thank you Rob and FMU skeleton(s) - stay safe, see you next week!
Avatar 8:57pm Bas NL:

I visited NOLA way back.. great vibrant city!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:57pm Rob W:

My concert info was mercifully short on this show, given that it is completely irrelevant!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:57pm radioronan:

Seen both Cha Wa & Pinettes in NOLA. It will come back @Mariano. Cant keep the good sounds down. (wwoz and wfmu are of the select few I give $ to.) Thanks Rob!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:58pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Thanks, Rob. Awaiting the feast of music coming next Saturday! Take care, DJ & skeletons.
Avatar 9:00pm Bas NL:

3AM.. times up!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:00pm Rob W:

Thanks Ken, you take care too, and everyone. And yes indeed, time's up! See everyone next week, take care, be well and stay well...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:00pm mariano:

Come back and see us, Bas - once we're past this crisis, of course :)
Avatar 9:02pm Bas NL:

NOLA always survives @mariano! And i will!
