Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:15pm ultradamno:

The eye-rony of Sammy Davis Jr. singing Eye on the Sparrow.
  7:22pm queems:

i played the jock jams version this morning on my phome
  7:22pm queems:

hey mariano!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:24pm ultradamno:

..or the irony of singing about not doing the crime if you can't do the time for a show starring Robert Blake. And that's the name of that tune
  7:24pm P-90:

Featuring sidekick Fred, the cockatoo. Now 105 years old and entertaining kids at the San Diego Zoo.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:26pm ultradamno:

Well, this Haskell track is just a little hustler.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:38pm mariano:

ultradamno: I'd like to hear that Baretta track with Blake's voice from Lost Highway superimposed.
Avatar 7:40pm slugluv1313:

@ ultradamno -- right? i remember all the Baretta jokes when Blake was on trial!
Foxes is awesome -- being a diehard Runaways fan, i saw it when it was released -- still great!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:42pm common:

Great stuff
  7:43pm JakeGould:

Nice!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:44pm mariano:

Wait what now? They were gonna give Chinatown a funk soundtrack? I'm sure I heard that wrong, lol! Apparently though Paramount, to save on costs, wanted the Godfather to be set in 70s Kansas City, with a "contemporary" soundtrack, with Laurence Olivier as the Don and Robert Redford as Michael.
Avatar 7:56pm slugluv1313:

amazing sounds!
thanks so much, Devon and Jason!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:57pm mariano:

Thanks, great show!
  8:00pm P-90:

Thanks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:03pm Rich in Washington:

I have the sole record that Robert Blake's wife made and MAN does it stink. It might be one of the worst pieces of wax I've heard outside of The Shaggs.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:03pm Rich in Washington:

Great show, Devin!
Avatar 1:18am Devon E. Levins:

Thanks for listening, All! I was trying to say that Phillip Lambro wrote the original score to Chinatown but it was rejected and replaced with the Jerry Goldsmith we all now know and love. His unused score is out there and is great as well. Perseverance Records put it out about 15 years ago. His "Crypt of the Living Dead" score is great too.
  4:19pm Mark in Toronto:

Joyride a standard AIP-type exploitation movie from 1977. It is not Canadian. Filmed in Washington state and (possibly) Alaska, set in Alaska. Starring Melanie Griffith, Robert Carradine and I believe Desi Arnez Jr.
