I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Where is everybody?
Hey, Bryce!
Avatar 12:30pm

hi! i banned everyone but listeners from troy. is that awkward?
Avatar 12:30pm

or people hate one of the quay brothers?
  Swag For Life Member 12:33pm
Tiago from Portugal:

Hi Bryce....why is everybody still in the JA comment board?
Avatar Bryce's Tooth Marathon 2024 12:34pm
Rev. Turnip Druid:

snuck in on the basis of having visited Troy once in the early 1990s. Might still have a piece of it stuck to me somewhere.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:36pm

i've been to troy (troy,ny) so technically i'm from troy.
may i stay?
Avatar Bryce's Tooth Marathon 2024 12:36pm
Rev. Turnip Druid:

...actually played a thing there in '92 with condemek. .. the last exit cafe.. The memory fades, i have permanent amnesia.

Troy's prolly not so bad, it's just that Waze tells me to hook around it and stay on I-87 while going north
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:38pm
George of Troy:

Rev, I knew Damien through another friend back in the late 80s. Condemek were great!
  Swag For Life Member 12:39pm
Tiago from Portugal:

Sorry I'm a tourist...didn't realize that there was a ban. I went to Greece once, does could that count as Troy?
Avatar 12:40pm

Oh, it's the jazz song. I like the jazz song.
wfmu listener phillip:

BRYCE!!! great jazz set!! perfect day gor jazz.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:42pm

i'm troying not to make any bad jokes...
wfmu listener phillip:

nothing better than some smooth 1970's jazz on a cloudy rainy day
eric from lake hiawatha:

Ideal set for a Friday afternoon Thanks
Avatar Bryce's Tooth Marathon 2024 12:55pm
Rev. Turnip Druid:

Also: it is not feasible to hate ONE of the Quay Brothers. They are conjoined. One never sees them in separate rooms, notice?!?! For the record, I'm militantly pro-Quay, and I vote.
wfmu listener phillip:

What would be great to hear on this dreary day.. herbie hancock 1967 album "maiden voyage"

@RTD: How is that James Last "Voodoo Party" LP, if you don't mind my asking?
Avatar 1:14pm
adrian in mpls:

this Khan Jamal Creative Art Ensemble! so good!
Avatar Bryce's Tooth Marathon 2024 1:20pm
Rev. Turnip Druid:

@Passaic R&B: I haven't had time to play it through yet. But I HAD to spin Giant Man and the track just before, to get that segue..

Funny how after years of STF, that goofy tune has imprinted deep ... it brings joy .. the expectation of groovy things to follow ..
Avatar Bryce's Tooth Marathon 2024 1:23pm
Rev. Turnip Druid:

@Bryce: for some reason Timothy gives me more of a vibe of Richard E Grant in "how to get a head in advertising" vs the other Quay. Even in the interviews.
Avatar 1:26pm

hahaaaaaaa omg
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:30pm
Passaic River Blues:

@RTD: haha! Agree with you on the indelible mark Fabio has left on my brain with that song. The whole thing is probably awesome; excellent pick-up.

Avatar 1:52pm

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:53pm

That Quay exhibit @ MOMA was amazing!!!
Avatar Bryce's Tooth Marathon 2024 Swag For Life Member 1:54pm

Street of Crocodiles is an incredible book. I didn't know the Quays made an adaptation. Must watch!!
Avatar Bryce's Tooth Marathon 2024 1:55pm

You might have a gray (grey outside of the US) seal in your home and not know it, if you believe in "selchies" as some Irish apparently do!
Avatar 2:35pm
Old Dave:

Sorry, "Selkie"
Avatar 2:35pm

selchies, wow! did not know.....
Avatar Bryce's Tooth Marathon 2024 2:36pm

Avatar 2:36pm

i want to do a google image search, but i'm afraid it's going to all be from deviantart.com
Avatar 2:44pm
Old Dave:

It sure does not stand to reason that a species we club to death every year in Quebec would allow drowned sailors to invade their souls and (in some cases?) re-form as humans to say goodbye to their
loved ones.

Rev. Turnip Druid:

I, for one, am within the usa and violently support the "e" spelling of GREY.

Avatar 3:00pm
Old Dave:

In my travels, I notice Canadians can read and understand the word "gray."
They don't care too much aboot it. Let's spare them the violence, at least.
They got it from England and are relatively innocent! Currently over half non English first language...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:19pm

bye bryce thanks oh you're gone already see you next week
