both awaiting on you all and alone again or are songs i play on the jukebox at the pub that get a lot of positive response, despite rap and hiphop being more the usual there.

Hi from Holland:

It is probably the warmest NYE on record, probably around 14°C (57°F) + strong wind and rain. But no doubt plenty of fireworks :-)

Los Angeles checking in! Now I realize there are at least two WFMU DJs named Bronwyn, right? I'm going to use your idea about movies being default musicals in conversations here in LA, OK? I'll credit you!
Avatar 4:39am
BronwynB:

Hey DL! I used to live in LA (briefly). Yes there is also a Bronwyn C and we are in the market for a Bronwyn A to complete the set. And I'm glad to hear you'll be bringing up my idea with the movers and shakers over there ;) While you're at it, can you tell em my other idea, which is to reboot the Gold Diggers of 1933 franchise? In this era of reboots and remakes, Gold Diggers of 2020 is a surefire hit!

Weird tangerine.
BB, I enjoyed your monologue about opinions. Many Men need to unlearn their behaviors and biases. Men have ready access to the platform and their voices are overamplified. They need to Make space and shut up
  4:46am
DL in LA:

OK, you're on! I just took a screenshot so I can get it right. Signing off, as I have more YouTube to watch! But I'm getting this archive, as I've liked what I've heard, and this is the first time I've heard your show. I'll keep my eye out for a Bronwyn A.

Another awesome busby Berkeley movie I just saw is the gangs all here featuring Carmen Miranda. At times surreal and always entertaining. Will check out gold digger series

My dear late affectionate wife loved Arthur Prysock (her mother loved him and Prysock love apparently gets passed on), and I looked for any and every Prysock album I could find. That’s my major memory of Prysock. And I did find his disco album. His great voice never faltered.

Avatar 5:35am

@fred: I sure hope so

@Fuzzy: It's a great one

@mkbrophy: You know it's funny, I was just thinking that, and it's totally unintentional. I listened to XPN constantly from my time in the womb until the day I discovered FMU when I was 17, and from that day forward I never listened to it again. But it was influential on me.
