Hey, Todd! Charlie here from CA! Remember Fire by The Crazy World of Arthur Brown? It's been like that since Monday in my neighborhood, fires raging all around me! Fortunately fires stopped a couple miles from my house, but still raging elsewhere. Now for some tunes – start the party!!

Woo! Is this Graham Gouldman thing really happening? Way to go, Todd-o!

Avatar 4:55pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

Glad everyone is digging this! Part two of the interview coming up!
  4:55pm SeanG:

can hear Petty singing this one
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:58pm Frank Above:

I wish we could hear Petty sing again :(
  4:59pm SeanG:

me too Frank. i miss Petty so much!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:01pm Frank Above:

@Sean I listened to Echo on the day he passed, but I haven't been able to bring myself to listen to any Petty since. He's not the first or even second artist I'd mention if someone asked me my influences or my favorite artists, but you sometimes don't realize how much an artist actually means to you until they're gone. Very happy I got to see him one last time in Forest Hills this past summer.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:02pm Barkevious Shabazz:

BTW, the engineering on the 10cc records was really exceptional.
Avatar 5:06pm Kay:

Listen to Ramases' album, production and musical backing care of 10CC, singing, writing, and concept care of Barrington Frost.
  5:06pm V Priceless:

Great GG 'Hospital Song' excerpt!
  5:16pm SeanG:

I feel the same way Frank, his death really hit me harder than expected, except I've been listening to Petty every day! :-) that's great that you got to see him one last time. I saw him once in gainesville 92 and then saw him once with the replacements opening.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:20pm Frank Above:

Nice work Todd. Another fantastic interview.
Avatar 5:21pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

Thanks Frank!
  5:21pm V Priceless:

wow Todd-o! Thank you for that!
  5:21pm Woo:

Who else is in the new Ringo band? I've never seen the All Star Band. I've always thought he should be able to get a better band. Sounds like that might be happening.
  5:22pm Woo:

That's All-STARR band. Sorry
  5:22pm SeanG:

this show is a game changer!
Avatar 5:22pm Jeezy:

Wait... So Graham produced the Animals?!
  5:22pm scott:

Great interview, ending on a pivotal song. Did you find this house when you were in NOLA? I've tried and can not.
Avatar 5:22pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

@Woo: a dude from Mister Mister.
  5:23pm Woo:

I've heard House of the Rising Sun a half million times and it has not lost an ounce of power.
Avatar 5:23pm Kay:

Scott: what time of day did you look?
Avatar 5:24pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

Graham didn't produce The Animals, he mentioned "House Of The Rising Sun" heavily influencing his life. And if I found that house, no doubt it will influence mine as well.
Avatar 5:25pm Jeezy:

Ah gotcha. Yes, Mickie Most, of course.
  5:25pm Christina Below:

I have a soft spot for Evil Hearted You. Some people (ahem, Frank Above) might say it's about me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:25pm Frank Above:

@Woo: Colin Hay, Graham, Steve Lukather, Greg Rolie, Warren Ham, Greg Bisonette.
  5:28pm sufferwords:

thanks Todd fer asking the good shit
  5:31pm Woo:

The only time I saw Ringo live was when he walked out of a hotel on his birthday and flashed the peace sign. He really needs to mix it up with his line-up. Get Emitt Rhodes to sing You're a Very Lovely Woman and Live and I'm there.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:32pm Frank Above:

The guy from Mr. Mister has been in his band for years. Ringo must really love to hear "Broken Wings" every night.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:37pm joeray:

Funny, I always thought it was Godley & Creme's invention of the Gizmo and their Consequences LP that led to them leaving 10cc, anyway, thanks for a very informative and I would guess rare interview, Todd.
  5:38pm Woo:

Neanderthal Man! C'mon!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:43pm ChrisB.:

Love those Ribeye fellers!

  5:54pm V Priceless:

Thanx again, Todd-o! Rock on! Cheers!
  5:54pm scott:

To Sir (with love) John Paul Jones, Lulu's producer. Saw Jimmy Webb at The Kessler; he is still on the line!
  5:57pm Woo:

I know I love this TOPT show because I never want it to end. But in show biz, always leave them wanting more.
  5:58pm SeanG:

Avatar 9:18am Brian in UK:

Thanks for Graham's interview. Plays it straight by the sound of it. I bought Heart Full of Soul the same day as Mr Tambourine Man. Turned my head forever. Still listening, still learning.

Love the pedal steel on Jimmie Dale.
Speaking of interviews, you might like this one.
