Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:03pm davex:

Hi Evan, up late here to listen for a while...
  9:04pm Trouble In Mind:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:06pm efd:

oh, it's on!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:06pm fleep:

Okay, I've got it on. Now what?
Avatar 9:07pm Holly in NC:

Hello & Happy Wednesday!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:08pm davex:

And a Happy Thursday to you Holly!
Avatar 9:10pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- this Velcro Lewis is baad !
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:12pm efd:

it's good bad, but it's not evil.
Avatar 9:13pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...ah - I've always heard about this
- Beatles Boettcher Cover...w/ meat & babydolls - ?!?!...
Avatar 9:13pm Loretta:

Hi everyone! it's good!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:13pm Uncle Michael:

This is a goddam humbling set...is what this is.

Greetings efd and funketeers.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:13pm fleep:

Funk Meter on the rise!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:19pm Stevel:

Wow. Loving the new White Mystery! They are a musical experience, especially live. I was hyp-no-tized the first time I saw them in Fort Wayne.

Yes. Fort Wayne, where Wrong Words would fit very well. (Pretty sure there's a spot on your tour that would fit!)
Avatar 9:19pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...when they say teeze - they mean presumably their Big Hair ??...
Avatar 9:22pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- yeah :
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:24pm Stevel:

Names like Teeze used to be a little bit dirty sounding. Those early hair bands were pretty odd, coming back from the punk side of things. Seemed relatively tame at the time.

Really like the segue to Hammered Satin, who are fucking incredible.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:27pm Barkevious Shabazz:

No Wicked Lady?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:31pm Uncle Michael:

The Boettcher was fucking great.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:36pm chris_in_space:

Saw Ex-Cult with Ty Segall earlier this year. Fucking loved them!!
Avatar 9:37pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

I fucking ☆ed fucking curt.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:38pm Stevel:

Ex-Cult is on my short list of shows to see, along with The Hussey, Apache Dropout, Hammered Satin, White Mystery...

You get the idea.
Avatar 9:41pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

'mirror man' reminds me of Teardrop Explodes...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:49pm Stevel:

These have been two rockin' sets.

Rock, good.
  9:52pm john:

Wow, show up a bit late and I miss Curt Boettcher? And from California Music, yet. I should start wearing a watch.
Avatar 9:52pm Holly in NC:

Shocked Minds on my short list of fave rock/pop lps 2013
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:54pm Uncle Michael:

My favorite music of 2013 is all from 1974. I don't get serviced.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:58pm efd:

Just about ready for the Wrong Words, folks! Stand by!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:58pm Stevel:

  9:58pm Trouble In Mind:

Avatar 9:59pm Peteski:

Really liked The J'accuse Boys track - what's it called (I do want to know, not interesting in correcting DJ's lists) standing by

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:13pm efd:

Swag For Life Member 10:17pm 12539:

Sounding good here!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:27pm Chop Scott:

Don't question Ernie's efforts--he's the best.
  10:29pm KP:

@steve - me also!
Avatar 11:13pm steve:

Avatar 11:21pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Oo...in general I don't much like Dentists - but I may have to make a big exception for these guys...

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:30pm efd:

that Dentists album is so good! I can't believe I missed it the first time!
Avatar 11:33pm Holly in NC:

@efd - I heartily suggest you check out the Dentists' "You & Your Bloody Oranges" ep & "Strawberries are Growing In My Garden" 7", more very early & very delightful works.
  11:34pm Trouble In Mind:

TRUE 'DAT Holly! There MAY be a sweet lil' RSD surprise growing in our garden next year... wink wink... DENTISTS4EVA

Avatar 11:37pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:37pm Alex of Chicago:

Chicago in the house.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:38pm efd:

Stevel, prepare to be pressed into service again next year!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:38pm efd:

true, lots of Chicago action tonight!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:38pm Stevel:

I live to serve!
  11:39pm Trouble In Mind:

Hey Evan, did the new LPs make it into the playstack yet? I sent 'em a couple of weeks ago!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:42pm efd:

Dentists and Wrong words are in the new bin for sure... not sure if Montibus Communitas is in there yet.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:42pm efd:

and I think I'm forgetting one...? Oh, Verma? Don't think I've seen that in there either yet.
Avatar 11:44pm Holly in NC:

@efd - if one googles mooms malmo city subway, only 2 results come back - my fmu profile & your aug 7 playlist. What's up with that?!! I want that 7''!
Swag For Life Member 11:46pm phat:

There's a big KISS tribute band named Strutter.
Swag For Life Member 11:46pm phat:

Or, at least, there used to be.
  11:48pm Trouble In Mind:

no 'Greatest Songs Of The Resonars" in there yet?
  11:49pm Trouble In Mind:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:50pm Stevel:

WFMU has a wicked sense of humor.

The building, the wires. They're watching you.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:54pm efd:

haven't seen the Resonars yet, but I admit I was looking through hastily tonight - I'll keep an eye out!
Swag For Life Member 11:56pm 12539:

@Holly, soundcloud page of one Tom Höstmark:
Maybe he's Mooms?
Swag For Life Member 12:00am 12539:

Thanks efd (& guests).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:01am Alex of Chicago:

Awesome song. Great show. Someone get the Resonars to play Chicago on their way home. @TiM
  12:01am trish:

Great evening listening, Evan.
Midnight, yeah!
Avatar 12:01am Holly in NC:

@12539 - You are brilliant! "Mooms" is apparently a theatre group in Malmö for intellectually-challenged individuals, so plot thickening..
