mysterio!:

SW! Weeksaver!
  12:04pm
north guinea hills:

i love the trumpet on this faust track.
  12:04pm
Cecile:

Good afternoon, Scott!
  12:05pm
north guinea hills:

it's nice an amateurish (the trumpet)
  12:06pm
Scott:

Morning y'allz, nice to see you! Remind me to never again open a show with 2 back-to-back minute-long songs!!
  12:11pm
dc pat:

Hey Scott, play a 9353 tune?
  12:13pm
Carmichael:

Hiya, Scott. Keep on playing this hippie music. Especially with flutes.
  12:15pm
Cheri Pi:

Until the end of that last number I thought he was singing "Lets blow our minds in the Toilet"
  12:25pm
BSI:

it is a 9353 kinda day, says i.
  12:30pm
dc pat:

BSI: indeed. and I see you're a friend of 9353's on myspace. Nice.
  12:35pm
Cecile:

Hey - has anyone successfully hacked into the Buddha machine and put their own loops in there?

I LOVE mine, but just curious.
  12:42pm
BSI:

DCP: I was late to the 9353 party but got involved just in time for the reunion show w/Paul Sears drumming -- helped out with the logo for the mardi-gras 9353 t-shirts. ... a groovy thing. Rumor has it they ain't dead yet!
  12:45pm
dc pat:

I arrived late too but saw the 9:30 show (the one where they all wore 3-piece suits for the entire show)--they kicked ass. 9353 is a DC institution that nobody in DC knows about.
  12:49pm
dc pat:

jeezus BSI, you're pretty freakin nuts. just checking out your stuff on myspace. when are you playing next?
  12:52pm
BSI:

oddly enough, tonight at Aqua, in a "side room" at the Juan Atkins show. First time doing it at a straight techno gig. My stuff is way more kraut/noise than that, so it should be a surreal mix.
  12:56pm
Cecile:

Tie me kangaroo down, I haven't heard Rolf Harris in forever.
  12:56pm
annie:

i love this song!!
  12:56pm
Carmichael:

He does a pretty funky Stairway to Heaven, complete with wobble board.
  12:58pm
dc pat:

ach, ain't gonna make that one. I was out rather late at a Hanukkah party last night and then have work Xmas party in about 1 hour. I like the noisy stuff. I'll make it out to another show...I promise!!
  1:02pm
mick:

was rolf harris known in the states?
  1:02pm
Cecile:

DO NOT SCREW WITH THE ZOMBIES SCOTT WILLIAMS!
  1:03pm
bartleby:

slow zombies?
  1:03pm
Cecile:

Tie Me Kangaroo Down was a hit there.
But he was way bigger in the rest of the world.
  1:03pm
Scott:

Bartleby wins! Nice to see you yesterday too.
  1:04pm
dc pat:

I wish some one would do an entire show of wrong speeds.
  1:06pm
BSI:

love me some wobble-board.
hawkwind used it on Flying Doctor (circa '78) - great sound.
  1:10pm
herr noiser:

I'm shocked Scott! Proceed directly to Alice Cooper "Love It To Death" side 2! You knew it...just overdue for a proper listen I'm sure.
  1:10pm
KAT:

yes, Alice covered it, on Love It To Death I believe
  1:12pm
herr.noiser:

that's the one...
  1:12pm
TorontoDerek:

The UK band The Godfathers also covered Sun Arise
Strangely enough, before tuning in, I was just viewing the lyrics for the Mark Riley song 'Rolf' which accuses Rolf Harris of being Lucifer. Then I click in to listen... And there is Rolf himself. Strange.
  1:13pm
sedimental:

Godfathers also covered
  1:20pm
finger-defender:

wikipedia says that was Alice's thumb! A finger would have been much less penis-like.
  1:24pm
dc pat:

that's what she said..
  1:25pm
Glenn L:

Love that Harsh 70s!
  1:27pm
Cecile:

YEAH.
  1:27pm
Cecile:

DEAD C BUDDHA MACHINE
  1:39pm
bartleby:

WFMU is as good during my cardio as it is laboring in service of the milk crate industrial complex, or napping, or reading a book.
  1:42pm
still b/p:

Alex: "What you got back home, little sister, to play your fuzzy warbles on?"

Girl: "Scott Wiliams plays 'em for me!"
  2:03pm
mysterio!:

thanks scott!
  2:06pm
Cecile:

It's called Little Kingdom
  2:07pm
Scott:

right you are Cecile, thanks
  2:08pm
fishmonkeystew:

All I want for Christmas is WFMU.
  2:19pm
Jed:

another great show, listening in the bookstore, confusing people, making them buy books
  2:26pm
Jackie ny-ca:

Wait, is this an ad for Hormel (r)?
  2:50pm
bartleby:

has anyone else gotten the plummy robo-call from cardholder services?
'ello luv, fancy some unsecured debt?
  2:58pm
Zam Fear, Pastor of the Man Flute:

now play crystal blue persuasion sideways!
  3:00pm
