I am late to this discussion, but I have actually been to the Ark Encounter. It’s ludicrously expensive and I hated giving the money to people who clearly hate people like me (they are big on Taking Back the Rainbow from the homos, for starters) but if you are a regular listener to this show I bet you will agree it’s worth it.

I must say, within ten minutes at the Ark it was crystal clear it’s a cult. There’s even propaganda in the restrooms, and there are cardboard standees of the cult founder everywhere, hawking his 30 or so books on Biblical teaching (Among those by other authors affiliated with him)
