Great electric Bob tune there, "Pledging." Sounds like he put the harmonica thru a tremolo effect there at the end. ("Blonde" was '66 by the way, not '68. Important in that era when months saw changes like years.)

P-90 quite so. Naturally TheBeatles are a really useful yardstick. Their last 'AbbeyRoad' in 1969 for instance was done with pretty much completely different technology then everything else they did! & sounds all smooth & much more 'Modern' in that sense...

Well, TDK60, due to some really unfortunate circumstances, I had to put my entire record collection in storage. When I will regain access to it remains speculative. I suggest that, if money is a problem, you can get to this Dylan material through one of the free streamers like YouTube. They have been my salvation(along with WFMU, of course!) when I get a hankering for certain music. YouTubes' ads are a pain, but you can adjust, I'm sure. Good hunting to you!

@RevRabbitNov63. I found the "Blonde on Blonde" material, but haven't tried to access it recently. Sometimes these streamers take down material for copyright reasons and such. So I can't guarantee the Dylan stuff is still up. One of my favorite artists, pianist Keith Jarrett, had all the albums that he recorded for the ECM label, removed from YouTube.

This must have been a joyous record for Masekela to make in the immediate wake of the '94 election and SA's transition from a fascist state.

Hey, slugluv. I can still smell mainly apple cider vinegar after Goblin smashed a bottle this morning. That was a fun first task. New pic of the Brothers Squirm with K8 in my profile. Hope it cheers your day a touch!

Goblin is the one who looks perpetually surprised. I color-coded their collars, too, for ease of knowing which one to yell at when things are flying off shelves. They are definitely getting BIG! You can especially tell when I don't notice that Bugbear wants to jump into my arms and I end up with eight or so pounds of kitten hanging from my chest by his claws.
