	♥ 4:29pm mariano: The language of the Travellers -- Shelta as the linguists call it -- is really fascinating but not very well known due to a reluctance to teach it to outsiders. A word or two has made its way into English though; apparently "moniker" ("name") is from Shelta.
	4:29pm morphe': Great book about Roma people (of which Travellers are not but there are similar histories...*) BURY MY STANDING and a great musical FILM LACHO DROM.. * The Celts came from central Europe (Praha - they were itinererant salt sellers) and wound up in Ireland so Travellers and Roma may have been one people in the Middle Ages??

	♥ 4:29pm mariano: The language of the Travellers -- Shelta as the linguists call it -- is really fascinating but not very well known due to a reluctance to teach it to outsiders. A word or two has made its way into English though; apparently "moniker" ("name") is from Shelta.
