Ah, Irene Papas. There's a great adaptation of Euripides' "Iphigenia in Aulis" (1976) by Michael Cacoyannis in which she plays Clytemnestra. There's a scene in there where she tears Agamemnon (her husband) a new one, one of the best cinematic tongue lashings.

For a long time I could have sworn Irene Papas was chanting, "I have, I have, I have to call my boss" but I just looked it up and apparently it's really just "I was, I am, I am to come, I was I am, I am to come, I was, I am, I am to come".

I have a reverse-gutter mind sometimes. My mind took something dirty and made it about work. I assumed she was having a nightmare about being late to work. Sigh.
