WAY back in the day, I had a lot more skillz with html stuff, so I kind of got the handle on color hex codes (eyedrop tool helped too). Playing around with coloring books helps too.

back in the days of Windows 3.1/Windows 98, it was SO MUCH easier to use html editors and the like, you could actually find cheap guide books at like Cost Cutters and stuff that had cd-roms of programs that were so much easier to use than anything that's coming out now (SO FRIGGIN' DIFFICULT to find a simple download manager anymore for some reason)

this is pretty foreign territory to me but regarding the reason my guess is they purposely make it difficult so more people are more dependent on people within the industry. maybe i'm just cynical.

Like, I get more stuff is going to mobile "devices" more than desktops and such, but so much of what's there anymore are graphicical based buttons instead of words, and menus that are some what hidden with no intuitive functions burried in them.
