i know!!! ...hehe, i don't mind the critters at all, it's the variable methods of coffee-brewing, this morning it's a single-serve french press.. next cup i definitely add half a scoop more of coffee

only gibbs, the other 2 could care less....rowdy is mean as hell, so they avoid him. he's a wizened old Tom who has run of the block, as well he should.. they are outside cats, though. ..

Wow just went to open blinds to look @ the gloomy day and pulled the darn cord rite out ,seems appropriate enough i guess it was warning me ,don't bother
Avatar    Sat. 8/12/17 7:02am duke:

That version of Tell Me Why was beautiful
Avatar    Sat. 8/12/17 7:07am jkeigh:

Probably because Epidaurus healed people with pre-existing conditions ;-)
Avatar Sat. 8/12/17 7:09am Jeffrey Davison:

Good one, jkeigh!
Avatar    Sat. 8/12/17 7:11am jkeigh:

Thanks but I need to apologize. I usually try to stay away from anything resembling political comments or jokes on a music forum or comment section and instead focus on our unity in the sonic realm but it's early and the joke just came.
Avatar Sat. 8/12/17 7:13am Jeffrey Davison:

Heavy politics is not really great here, but I myself sometimes indulge on air. Your joke is far from heavy, fine by me, and by most people, I'd say.
Avatar    Sat. 8/12/17 7:15am jkeigh:

Thanks again. I try to keep to the rule so as to not be the snowball that starts the avalanche. There are way too many wonderful things to focus on rather than go down that path. The past 75 minutes of music for example
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sat. 8/12/17 7:17am annie:

yep, i'm grateful there are several playlists' comments sections that are politics-free...
Avatar Sat. 8/12/17 7:18am spamoni:

I think it was spot on and made me laugh
  Sat. 8/12/17 7:21am Cooh John:

Your comment is apropos and with me okeigh, jkeigh.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sat. 8/12/17 7:24am annie:

ok, the pun floodgates have been officially opened: woke this morning, here in asheville, to a very moogy damp day.
Avatar    Sat. 8/12/17 7:25am jkeigh:

It was rainy here in North Jersey when I woke up for Carol's show but the sun is poking its head out now.

Cancer patients MUST do 3 things everyday laugh, cry and be thankful
Avatar    Sat. 8/12/17 7:26am jkeigh:

I appreciated the pun because most people think it's pronounced j-key instead of j-kay
Avatar    Sat. 8/12/17 7:27am jkeigh:

I hope the fight is going in your favor today Spamoni
Avatar    Sat. 8/12/17 7:29am Guido from Cologne:

Looks like WFMU is just discovering Big Judy because this Elektra compilation arrived @ the archives. (Nothing against. I'm a fan!)
Avatar Sat. 8/12/17 7:31am spamoni:

I actually look forward to Sat and all my new friends as I live alone and pretty much stuck at home everyday so this is my highlight
  Sat. 8/12/17 7:37am Morris:

Perfect sound for cooking pasta for family dinner.
Greetings from Dresden (FCK PGD), Germany
  Sat. 8/12/17 7:38am Cooh John:

@spamoni: my activity on the comments board had me questioning myself if such a relationship is healthy. After visiting WFMU this spring I determined it was.
Avatar Sat. 8/12/17 7:38am Jeffrey Davison:

The Judy Henske was originally on High Flying Bird, a great album and a favorite of mine. She has no shortage of fans here. Farewell Aldebaran gets a fair amount of spins here. Some of her stuff might be too poppy for FMU, I guess. I dunno.
Avatar Sat. 8/12/17 7:40am listener mark:

Good morning. Beautiful music on a Saturday morning.
Avatar Sat. 8/12/17 7:41am Howard F:

Enjoying this Jack Cooper track. Reminiscent of Stephen Malkmus. Will have to delve further! Thanks.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sat. 8/12/17 7:44am annie:

re: the comments board: i find this is the best place for me to socialize and i feel i'm in amongst like minds, on many levels.. music is my life and i like hanging out with people who feel the same way... books, too... but then i tend to run my mouth.. thank you all for being here
Avatar    Sat. 8/12/17 7:48am jkeigh:

I agree Annie. Although I work in a job that involves me interacting with many people everyday, I'm naturally shy and an a bit of an introvert. I find it easier to open up in a place like this where I know that everyone here at least shares my passion for music in all of its many forms.
Avatar Sat. 8/12/17 7:51am Jeffrey Davison:

Hey, there Morris (al dente, please)...listener mark, thanks, Howard F, didn't think of Stephen Malkmus, thanks.
Avatar Sat. 8/12/17 7:54am listener mark:

Thanks for the Grateful Dead.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sat. 8/12/17 7:54am annie:

Avatar Swag For Life Member Sat. 8/12/17 7:55am annie:

I can remember back in 1973, Farewell Alderbaran was such a rarity it almost had mythical status. Perhaps the only good thing about CDs are the reissues and comps that have appeared.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sat. 8/12/17 8:46am annie:

i'll be sending my thanks now, cause that pan behind me is ready for thr breakfast to be stirred and eaten: broccoli, bratwurst, rice...buttah.. thanks jeffrey for another wonderful saturday!.. i LOVE saying the word "Aldebaran"
  Sat. 8/12/17 8:52am Morris:
