Yes!!! I was at that Floyd show also at Giants Stadium. That floating pig was trip. I think my one of my first shows was also around that time at Giants Stadium, Aerosmith, Deep Purple and Guns n Roses. Some fans set a row of seats on fire when 'Smoke on Water' was played.

We had an observatory in our neighborhood in Chattanooga (on a hill behind our church). It was open to the public maybe two nights a month and we could walk over and look through the telescope or see the planetarium show.
