hi Sheila! Your voice always makes me smile. I'm wondering if you've ever seen "Belladonna of Sadness", or heard it's soundtrack. it seems like something you'd like: a psychedelic animated film from early 1970s Japan with a sweeping sad girl score. https://youtu.be/9ZFWdrYX2fs

Speaking of record fairs: Twice a year (apr + nov) there's a very big one in Utrecht (NL). If you Google "platenbeurs utrecht" in Google pictures, you will understand why I'm always thinking: where do I start?

Did I hear you say you are from Iran? How did you smuggle your records into the country? Did the Ayatollah like crooners and ye-ye girls?

@bobo so while the Mullahs weren't all that down with crooners and go-go girls... it just so happens that the music scene in Iran was quite vibrant in the 70s. Which she may not have been in tune with directly, but she does appear to have bottled up some of its vibe ;)

Iran was much more Western in the 70s under the Shah. I spent some time there at the end of the decade. It's waaaay different now.
