"I listened yesterday. It's no reflection on you but I could'nt see where you were going or what you were going for. This early seventies thing did'nt get noticed the first time and you talk about friends of like Dealney and Bonnie who had records out like we're supposed to remember who they are. Then you play this long winded free jazz stuff that really grates on my nerves. And that noise without a beat and sounds like someones being pinched. Then you play a reggae song, I think you called it Dub, to what, be cool? You seem to really fetishize the whole folk thing too which is obnoxious to us who don't even care. I liked it when you played that punk song though. I like Joe Belock a lot." (Visit homepage.)

You've got a great chance at winning this Gary Wilson LP -- crazy songs on the B-side of this piano piece on side A

What the hell? Daylight savings changes during the marathon. How are we Europeans meant to cope with that? Sorry for being an hour late.

There are five universal elements: earth, water, air, fire, and snot. This secret is only revealed by John Allen's smooth jazz.

Gary, fancy meeting you here!
Saw Gary Wilson in Chicago last week, quite a character.
Avatar Wed. 3/16/16 7:26am Gary:

Howdy, Polyus! Tell us about that Gary Wilson show (I'm jealous!)
Avatar Wed. 3/16/16 7:39am John Allen:

hey folks, Roland P Young CD is up for grabs/ giving this away in 5 minutes
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/16/16 7:45am Polyus:

He stuck to the short songs - think he started with '6.4=Make Out' and kept it going like that. He had a raincoat, a big plastic sheet of some sort, and a female mannequin head that he was singing to. Rolled around on the floor a lot. It was good fun. I am not sure who was in his band, but they were wearing dresses, of course.
Avatar Wed. 3/16/16 7:55am Gary:

^Super jealous!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Wed. 3/16/16 8:02am Polyus:

He played right after Vaadat Charigim, if that isn't enough for you.
Avatar Wed. 3/16/16 8:16am Gary:

Get in the running for Tusk x3 -- a mere $20 pledge (or more, why not more?)
Avatar Wed. 3/16/16 8:33am Gary:

Polyus, I super-heart Vaadat Charigim!
Avatar Wed. 3/16/16 8:46am bobby dobbs:

I just spent $170 on public TV for (2) tickets to see "Brit Floyd" in Miami Beach (copy-cat Pink Floyd band). I'll wear my $50 WFMU T-shirt to the show! (John, I'm sure I'll get my T-shirt before June 22nd (concert date!) LOL!)
