Scratchy vanity 45s, pilfered field recordings, muddy off-the-radio sounds, homemade congregational tapes and vintage commercial gospel throw-downs; a little preachin', a little salvation, a little audio tomfoolery.

Two things, children: my apologies for no playlist last week. I will post it in a few days. 2. Please welcome back Joe Duffy, who makes sure each and every week's Sinner's Crossroads makes it to the station, and then makes sure the show is in the queue correctly to play on the air. Then Joe board ops the show, which requires one to sit at the board and make sure the show does not have a tech issue or meltdown. Joe is just back tonight after suffering a punctured lung last month. Please make sure Joe gets an extra piece of chicken from the fellowship hall.
  Thu. 11/19/15 8:02pm Listener Robert:

Hail Joe Duffy! Anybody care to tell the lung puncture story?
Avatar Swag For Life Member Thu. 11/19/15 8:02pm chris:

Welcome back, Joe! Hey, sinner, LR, All!
  Thu. 11/19/15 8:03pm Listener Robert:

I've been tied up Thurs. nights the past mo., so if the story's in the archived comments, I understand.

No. Dog. By Bill Traylor.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Thu. 11/19/15 8:19pm chris:

whew. thanks for the clarification. and, man, this Famous Rocks track!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Thu. 11/19/15 8:22pm Sean B.:

These last two tracks (famous rocks & Christian all stars) are simply unbelievable. Soul baby soul!
Avatar Thu. 11/19/15 8:23pm sinner:

chris and Sean B. testify.
Avatar Thu. 11/19/15 8:28pm Joe D.:

the story is long and boring! But the moral is: if it hurts, go the hospital, and make sure you've got insurance! Thank you for your well wishes, folks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Thu. 11/19/15 8:29pm Sean B.:

Stuff like that is where soul starts and when it comes to the nitty gritty with power like that's where it ends!. Thanks @sinner
  Thu. 11/19/15 8:31pm Listener Robert:

Care to tell the long, boring story privately? I've initiated e-mail contact. I know of various ways lungs can be punctured, usually as a byproduct of something else bad. Bronwyn had mentioned your hospitaliz'n, but no more.
Avatar Thu. 11/19/15 8:32pm sinner:

@ SeanB. Only orange juice with the pulp and honey with the cob suspended in the middle sold here

Avatar Thu. 11/19/15 8:51pm glenn:

Avatar Thu. 11/19/15 8:52pm sinner:

Here, usually a really soulful gospel number.
Avatar Thu. 11/19/15 8:56pm sinner:

Next week Thanksgiving! Every gospel number about chicken. See y'all!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Thu. 11/19/15 8:57pm chris:

Avatar Thu. 11/19/15 8:57pm glenn:
