Scratchy vanity 45s, pilfered field recordings, muddy off-the-radio sounds, homemade congregational tapes and vintage commercial gospel throw-downs; a little preachin', a little salvation, a little audio tomfoolery.

Oh my, yes I am thankful for this 78rpm Magic.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Thu. 10/15/15 8:30pm Sean B.:

@sinner My vote is for the 78 version of the Sinners theme; Reason being there is that one bass note in the 45 version that is out and i can't help but notice it every time, and the vocal performance on the 78 version is excellent and a little better to me and i prefer it...;But then again it just may be because i have heard the prior version a couple of hundred times, at least.
Avatar Thu. 10/15/15 8:31pm sinner:

They are both killer--never noticed the bass note--but I like the slower, funkier 78 version as well.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Thu. 10/15/15 8:32pm JakeGould:

This “Stepped In The Water” is a 78? So clean in comparison.
Avatar Thu. 10/15/15 8:35pm sinner:

I do not play unclean records.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Thu. 10/15/15 8:37pm Ken From Hyde Park:

On the 78th day, God created records. And He found them good.
