@Scott: Good to know, though with this station, "proper speed" is whatever works for the DJ in command at the time. Which is as it should be

@fred: Uhm, "Yes! Of course!": http://www.nytimes.com/2015/06/29/arts/music/chris-squire-the-bassist-for-yes-is-dead-at-67.html

OT, I work at a brew pub, Brew Springs, where they refer to me as The Boss. Why? Because I'm Brew Springs' Dean.

Heya Scott and friends. I need repetition just like this Aiden Baker to help me focus on a big ass project!

Repetition? You asked for it, Carmichael. I work at a brew pub, Brew Springs, where they refer to me as The Boss. Why? Because I'm Brew Springs' Dean.

@Carmichael: Get yourself some Nisennenmondai, the best repetition you can get

@Carmichael, come live in Israel, we have a repitition of a war every other year. come, we can predict the future!

Yo Scott!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 6/29/15 5:01pm fred:

@Yair: sounds great, apart from the living in a war zone part. That sounds like it might get tedious after like, the first time
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 6/29/15 5:01pm Scott Williams:

Marcel!
Avatar Mon. 6/29/15 5:03pm Yair Yona:

@fred - yeah but it's a conversation stimulator! Btw, most likely I'll see you in France before I'll see you in Tel Aviv ;) coming in sep.

@Marcel M: Whuhappen? Did you bring amplifiers?
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 6/29/15 5:11pm fred:

Great news! I'm not going anywhere, so I'm happy that you'll be playing here. I hope I don't have a dance show booked that day. Dance comes first for me, and second, with music a distant third. If there's a conflict I'll try to trade to another day. I have dance shows booked on 10/17/24/28
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 6/29/15 5:12pm Marcel M:

@Rev Rabbit: Hehe, nah. Our mouths were too amplified. According to the gentlemen next to us.

Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 6/29/15 5:35pm Whosondephone:

Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 6/29/15 5:35pm fred:

OK, you might as well play Yes by now, the prog police is off duty -- meaning helping the local pub keeping its pipes clean
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 6/29/15 5:36pm Scott Williams:

Fred. I'm gonna play Yes. sorry to anyone who was hoping for Tales of Topographic Oceans
Avatar Mon. 6/29/15 5:37pm TDK60:

Hey, this is real futuristic.

I saw a great dance show with Golden Hours in a loop
  Mon. 6/29/15 5:43pm barrie:

Warm Jets, the perfect funeral song. At least for me. One of my favourite concert moments ever was a couple of years ago when I saw the Finnish band Circle perform this song as their final encore, an extended, heavy drunken hockey chant. Tears.
Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 6/29/15 5:44pm Scott Williams:

@barrie, yes to Circle's epic cover of warm jets!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 6/29/15 5:46pm fred:

@barrie: agreed, Circle's version of this song is a great cover. Not even close to Les Reines Prochaines' destruction of Chris Isaak's song though
  Mon. 6/29/15 5:47pm Prog Police:

NO
Avatar Mon. 6/29/15 5:47pm TDK60:

Barrie, I've also thought Warm Jets would be a good funeral song. Don't know why!

Avatar Swag For Life Member Mon. 6/29/15 5:50pm Scott Williams:

Welcome Rev, to the END of EVERYTHING!
  Mon. 6/29/15 5:50pm barrie:

Something about its blurred nature... worn out but beautiful.
Fred: I've seen the Reines perform before, total anarchic madness! Love them! Stayed in one of the member's flat once and seen their rehearsal space filled with ridiculous props. Great people. Recommended to visit if you're in Basel.

Opinion: Yes - along w/ the Prog values of bringing musicianship & 'seriousness' about Rawk as Art &tc. - remembered to attempt melodies & good songs as well. Never really a problem w/ these guys, if not massive play & exposure either.
  Mon. 6/29/15 5:53pm Prog Police:

Just say NO
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Mon. 6/29/15 5:54pm fred:

The music guru in high school once told me he wanted me to play bass in his band because "some people are made to play, others to listen". That was his way to fire his current bass player. I said "you're right" and haven't touched an instrument since
